Ive tried Indian Kitchen 5 times, and I am DONE with them! I really tried to like this place. As others have stated, they have good appetizers, vegetarian entrees, breads. BAD meat. Very dry. 2 out of 5 times they gave me plain rice -- no spices whatsoever. Also, for $1 more, I could get any entree at Taj Mahal and receive twice as much (higher-quality) food. The nail in the coffin is that the owner is very unfriendly and the atmosphere sucks. Unless you are looking for a cheap, sub-par buffet, seek elsewhere. This is NOT the best Indian in Columbus -- not even the best on the block. Check out the Taj Mahal. . .

Im writing this while Im sitting in the restaurant. My husband and I went here as a small anniversary treat. We are not impressed AT ALL!! I cut myself on a tiny bone that was in the bone-riddled goat biriyani, told the owner, and he gave excuses as to why the biriyani had bones in it. The food was bland. We had to add a ton of salt to give it flavor. The restaurant smells and has cob webs everywhere. Disgusting! The picture I posted was directly beside where we were sitting. For a restaurant which such high prices, you think they would use some of that money to clean the place. Were never coming back!

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants over the years and Indian Kitchen falls in line with the type and quality of food that I have come to expect. I was a little surprised at the small size of the restaurant. We had a party of 5, and once we were seated, it felt as though we were in our own little world. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I loved the Malai Kofta, and my husband had the Chicken Curry and it was very good as well. The pooris, naan, samosa and raita were also delish! I have also eaten at the Indian Oven and Taj Mahal, and feel that they are good, but over priced.

This place is the worst indian food ever! We just picked some up for take out and I kid you not it is inedible. We are not even going to eat it! It not only smells horrible but the taste is appalling. I have experienced a ton of indian places and this one is hands down the worst. I am not one to complain but this place is horrible! We dropped over $50 dollars because it was our treat on a Friday night to try a new indian place. I feel like we got scammed and I hope this review helps you to steer clear of this feeling.

Just got delivery from here for the first (and now only) time. It was terrible. Ordered the chicken mikhani, which was essentially just a plastic container filled with flavored water and a few miscellaneous chicken cubes. I also got the chicken soup, which was clearly just lipton or some other type of microwaveable broth. The naan was raw. The can of pop I paid for expired in August of last year. Food quality was poor, and food was definitely overpriced. Would not recommend.

This place is awful. I had Cafe Courier deliver me their coconut soup and shrimp jalfrazie. All of it was terribly bland. I tossed the soup in the trash after two sips. The last time I checked jalfrazie has bell peppers in it. There were two small slices in my entire dish. And for the heat I chose medium but got mild. Go to Aab if you want the best Indian in this town. Too bad it isnt serviced by Cafe Courier. Ill never choose this place again.

I asked for Naan and received Roti. Knowing the difference, I politely asked the Indian waiter to confirm if it was Naan or Roti. He said he needed to check with the Chef. Upon his return, he confirmed it was Naan. He was obviously lying to me. Also, the curry was served over a bed of rice, which is not traditional. There are plenty of great Indian restaurants in Columbus to justify not wasting your time here.

This here is some excellent indian food. Every curry I tried has been delicious. Nan is always fresh and tasty, and rice is cooked to perfection. The place itself is pretty small, so dont try to roll in with a 20 people crew; but there likely will be place for you and your date. Take out works well too. If you are on the east side of down-town check out Indian Owen another excellent restaurant.

Ordered take out, arrived almost 2 hours later. I wasnt very impressed with the quality of the food or quantity based on the price. I wouldnt say it was horrible food but all things considered, I think Ill just stick with Aab.

Hole in the wall. Authentic music, mom and pop feel. Small and comfortable. Food was pretty good, but not the best indian food Ive had to be honest. We also didnt get our tea, but who cares, they were nice people.

Go somewhere else. There are many great Indian restaurants in Columbus; this is mushy, nontraditional, and low on flavor and spice. Not impressed. Probably the worst Indian food Ive had in the city.

Ive had much better Indian food elsewhere. Food here is not too bad, but not goo either. Slightly below average, I would say. The dishes are relatively expensive for the food quality.

Place was empty and a little pricey, but overall a good experience. Food was delicious, and the owners repeatedly checked to make sure I had plenty of water and was doing ok.

Food is priced too high considering the quality. I barely had any chicken breast in my meal but instead had mostly weird chicken fat and cartilage.
