After having a drink spilled on you, it sort of sets the tone for the evening. Thats exactly what happened the last time we were in. The food is OK but a little pricy for what it is. I know they do farm to table, but in the winter? I don’t think so. Its all "hot house" at best, and its nothing special than any other restaurant of quality. It is noisy. I come for the chic peas, but about the only thing that I prefer is the burger, and there are many other places for a burger. My wife has their salad which is nice, a glass of wine and thats about it. This last time I wore my wine when it was knocked into my lap. These things happen, but the service was a little slow overall, and the bread pudding dessert doesn;t live up to the hype. Check Please!

ordered a hamburger which was substandard on every level. The owner was making her rounds to each table to see if everyone was happy and stopped by ours towards the end of the meal. When she asked how everything was I gave her an honest assessment but kept my voice down so as not to be overheard by other tables. I thought she would be apologetic but received the reverse reaction. She basicallly gave me the third degree, to the point that I was embarrassed and sorry I said anything. Her tone was both rude and intimidating. She obviously didnt care to be overheard and I actually got the impression she wanted to be overheard. Very unprofessional to say the least. Needless to say I havent been back since.

I have family in the area so I have been going there to eat each time I am in Mt Kisco area. The food is excellent, and so is the atmosphere. I always had great service, never waiting for ice tea to be refilled. Cafe of Love is cozy and inviting with different tables, all wood but with various styles. There is one large table in the center with wonderful fresh bread selection and a munch or two on before your meal such cheese, veggie or tasty humus. I love the mussel soup and the cobb salad. It is my favorite in the area.

Went to a Holiday Party here... Nice place, food was good, but not consistent. Several of the people in my group had the duck. Some were over cooked & dry & others were fine. No separate dining area for our group, so we were divided into small tables near one another... Kinda felt like the party was broken up into groups.

lovely soups, addictive fried chickpeas the night i was there. would have loved to have taken home; the takeout annex is around the corner, but it was closed by the time we finished dinner.

Really lovely decor, and the breakfast was super good! Service was friendly, albeit a little slow, but not slow enough to be a detriment to the meal. Definitely going back!

Cafe is the best restaurant in Westchester! The food is consistently delicious (and changes seasonally) and the ambiance is always high-energy. Its my go-spot!

Overpriced, noisy, and very inconsistent food quality should make this a choice only when other nearby places are not available.

They said it was local and sustainable food but there was no sign of a real egg and fresh produce.

nothing yo write home about. I couldve gotten the same meal from the near by Mt. Kisco dinner.
