Ive been to this place on several occasions and depending on the day of the week, can be a pleasant or dreadful experience. If you plan to go on either a Friday or Saturday night without a reservation, be ready for a minimum of a thirty minute wait. If you decide to go on any other night, you can most likely get a table without a wait at all. I enjoy their menu here a lot. They have a large selection of fresh fishes that are grilled to perfection and are served with your choice of four different sauces. To date, I have tried the Mango Salsa and the Chimichurri and the other two choices are the Lemon Butter and Pan Asian. Lemon butter is the traditional sauce for seafood, but the other three are fresh new pairings for me. When ordering, your entree comes with one side of your choice and a chickpea, tomato and spinach combination that is pretty tasty. For an additional fee, you can add a cup of their corn chowder with lump crab that is a pretty standard affair. Every table also gets a small loaf of bread that they are continuously baking all day and is usually fresh from the oven when it reaches your table. The portions here are huge and you never have to worry about going home hungry. However, if by some miracle you do find yourself not completely stuffed. They also have a small offering of desserts. We ordered the Macadamia Brownie which is served a la mode with a raspberry drizzle. Even though it is called a brownie, this dessert more closely resembles a slice of cake. The flavors do come together very nicely, but the brownie itself could be moister. It is a decent establishment for a chain and you will most likely not be disappointed.

You know what I hate? People who go into the restaurant business in the same way people sell hardware. Youre either a restauranteur who orchestrates a memorable dining experience or you engage in crass mercantilism. First off, you keep the restaurant so cold that diners want to leave as soon as possible. You do this to increase turnaround and jack the profit margin. I have no problem with you wanting to profit from your investment but your restaurant is uncomfortable. Additionally, your food is mediocre. I realize from your reviews that your customers dont know any better but you should and you should aspire to better than vegetables steamed to the point of structural collapse, overly salted sauces, unappealingly old meat and small portion sizes. Finally, you dont see customers as diners, you see them as marketing opportunities. The waitstaff is trained to up sell at every interaction and as diners try and escape, throw an address card at them so you can capture their vitals. After declining Im surprised that I didnt wake up in my car with an ear tag and a tracking device. I realize that both you and customers need to make some concessions due to your being a chain restaurant but there is too much to be disappointed about here. Your shareholders are too involved in my dining experience. Never again.

The food was amazing, however, this place does not even deserve 3 stars from me. I went here on Mothers Day with 10 other family members and received horrible service. The waitress literally told my family members "dont touch anything" as soon as she approached the table with our drinks, when we started to order food she asked "are we getting anything for the angry baby?" because my niece is only 1 years old so she can only tell when she tries to speak, then when we were asked about dessert, it was "are you getting dessert, or are you done?" Lastly, when we asked for the check, the waitress stood at our table waiting and we actually had to dismiss her. The restaurant itself has nice food. However, the waitress was very rude since she saw my family walk in.

So RELIEVED to find such a wonderful place near where I live. The seafood is so fresh, simply and beautifully prepared and even more delicious to eat. Even the non-seafood dishes are amazing. I love that the martinis are so carefully handcrafted (the bartenders make them right in front of me when I sit at the bar) and made with fresh fruit. The staff is sooo hospitable and KNOWLEDGABLE! And they make me feel like Im at home which is so important to me. I can see why this place gets so busy! Even when there is a wait, theres always a friendly server coming around with samples of appetizers and even drinks! You wont get that at Cheesecake! Nothing like this around me and its very refreshing. Also, great happy hour too!

Bonefish Grill has silent service protocol. Lady who was waiting on my table she took my plate when I had a fork in my hand. From the beginning she was not happy because she wasnt expecting good tip as I was not in mood to drink anything! Wish I could remember her name. Anyway place is good and chain definitely deserves better rating than what I am giving right now. But this rating is specifically related to bad experience that I had at Iselin, NJ location.

I had a very poor experience here last night!!!!! First we was a party of six and we all received dirty but I mean extreamly dirty cups of glass!!!!! It was disgusting second another waitress spilled a whole entire drink on me and did not apologize instead she said its ok it will get you some tissue in a very rude voice!!!! So if your looking to have a splendid Night I dont request this restaurant my opinion!!!!

Ive been to Bonefish a few times already, to the Iselin location, and Ive enjoyed every meal very much. The prices arent really that high compared to other places of similar quality. Ive had steaks and burguers here, and I must say the steaks are of great cut and quality, cooked as ordered always. I recommend this place for lunches and dinners. (the ambience is good for kinda romantic but semi-informal dinners)

This place is an excellent place to eat at even if youre not exactly in the mood for fish because they have something for everyone. The food is a bit pricy but the quality is well worth the price tag. They also have a decent drink menu and the bartender makes all the drinks very well. I highly recommend this place for all but especially so if you are in the mood for fish. You will love this place!

I have nothing to say except wonderful things about this location specifically. I eat soy free and gluten free, and our server was FANTASTIC at making sure everything I chose to eat was safe for me. The food was quick and wonderful, and the service was great. I am happy to say we are eager to eat here again, and will become one of our regular restaurants to frequent.

Fantastic food, great chef, an absolute top experience in dining, attentive staff...did not wait for drinks to be switched out. Imperial longfish superb...a simple sirloin cooked perfect. Definitely one of thee best in NJ. Especially appreciated the flow of the floor with everyone working as a cohesive unit.

Great service but the food was unimpressive. Even though my ladys food was in need of more seasoning and my mac and cheese tasted like the noodles and the sauce was just thrown together, the lobster stuffed shrimp ALMOST made up for it.........ALMOST...
