We are pretty tolerant people- love good food, and appreciate the difficulties of running a restaurant. Weve gotten take out from here fairly regularly. But tonight, the order we received was incorrect, which we discovered when we got it home. We called to inform the manager, and asked that since it was incorrect (after a long wait), we would politely like a credit for that one dish- believe me, the mistake was pretty obvious. And we are local customers. The manager proceeded to argue at length that we were the ones that made the mistake since he packed the order. We explained that we did not wish to discuss the matter further, but wanted a credit. He then told us that if we ordered ignorantly in the future, we would get the same result. Due to our business, we frequently recommend dining options to business accounts. We will not only not recommend this establishment but vigorously discourage anyone from choosing this as a dining option in the Mystic area.

Up to now, I had pretty okay American-Chinese food from Peking Tokyo. However, after a string of late deliveries and the most recent issue, they have lost me as a customer. Rather than contacting me to let me know that my food will be late (after an hour delivery time to begin with), they waited until 25 minutes past my expected delivery time to inform me that itd be another 25-30 minutes. Oh, and that my food would have been sitting around for nearly an hour. "Do you still want it?" Um. No. Whether it was the deliverymans fault or the restaurant, it simply demonstrates a lack of concern for the customer or the quality of the food. For the cost, Ill take my money elsewhere next time.

A surprise find! They have authentic Chinese food too. Just ask for it. It is comforting to have some good Sichuan hot food after a rainy gloomy day. Never thought I can find any decent Chinese restaurant in this area. Looks kinda run-down from outside. But once I walked in, a whole different world. Elegant environment and very nice dining setting. Also eye catching awards on the wall. One last word of advice: make better looking menus on the outside wall. The cheap look almost made me miss the good food.

Peking Tokyo is my fave pick for Chinese in the Upper Valley. The eggrolls are nicely stuffed and crispy; but my favorite is the spicy string beans with ground pork-served at lunch. (I find the food is generally much better at night vs. lunch), but to be truthful, I have never had an awful meal here. The tropical drinks pack a punch, too! Try it, youll like it. NOTE: I am not a sushi eater, so I cannot make any judgement there.

They recently obtained a new sushi chef, who is fabulous. Anyway, normally I avoid combined Chinese-Japanese restaurants as they tend to combine the worst of both worlds. Not here -- the two sides are actually physically separate, and have separate chefs. Chinese side has good sized portions and great value; the Japanese side has surprisingly good sushi for such a small town.

The time to go to Peking Tokyo for good food is weekday lunch time. Its entirely different at other times. Not just because the lunch specials are great values, but the food is far better. At dinner the meats get tough and rubbery. The sauces get watered down. Its as if the food has been sitting and steaming. Not at lunch time though. Much better at lunch. Strange!

The Habachi is a Treat. Wish i could do it more often. Hey atleast I caught the Zuccini. One of the few places i actually eat vegetables. Group style seating as with most Habachi places..No problem. Great place for a B-Day celebrations. Never tried the Take Out or Chinese but dont have too. I go there for the Japanese!

Solid, reliably good chinese food and sushi. Their lunch special is hard to beat for quantity/price, and is very good to boot. Their drinks are also well made. Things I keep coming back to eat here: General gaus chicken or Kung Pao chicken Egg rolls Spicy Szechuan dumplings Hot & Sour Soup Red Sox Maki

Not bad, not great. Their best selling point is that you can get Chinese or Japanese, so everyone in your party will be happy. However, if youre willing to commit to a restaurant with one cuisine, there are far better Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants in the Upper Valley to enjoy.

Todays special, Angel Chicken, was quite nice. I will add some hot pepper sauce to my leftovers and see how it tastes spiced up. Our waiter has improved his English so service was great. Lunch selections are always huge. Ive had sushi here many times and its always been fresh and tasty.

You can find your Chinese food fix here. You can also order take out and that was always pretty good. I have only been once here for lunch, and the food was just OK. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was average. They also offer offer Japanese food and have a sushi bar.

Ordered sushi. It was pretty good for the area. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday evening. Prices are competitive with similar places in the area. Its nice to have a variety to choose from so everyone has something they can order. Service was ok.

Worst pad thai ive ever eaten! The beef wasnt horrible but also doesnt compare to others Ive had at small takeout places. The pad thai had no flavor or juice to it what so ever. I felt like i was eating week old leftovers.

Best Chinese food in the area and its just a lovely place to have a meal. The staff are quiet and quick and yet happy to engage a bit more. Wide, open aisles. Comfortable roomy seating.

Food is always delicious and prices are good. But I gave them a lower score due to dirty restrooms and dingy carpets and food on the walls.

Winnie is the best bartender. Great drinks. But... remember to have a sober driver or a cab. Those drinks are that good!

Good food at a good price. Their lunch menu is a good option for lunch if you work in the area.
