Well, im a frequenter of Manchester rd on a weekly basis and never cared what Hibachi grill is offering until today. Ive checked Yelp reviews for a good chinese food buffet and this one caught my eye with 4.5 star rating. I went in skeptically but returned with a heavy stomach. Boy, there are so many varieties of food, especially seafood. I never had so many shrimp and crab legs before without waiting a long time for a refill. Even though most food is bland, one can find satisfaction. The hibachi grill cook doesnt understand English and he prepared something when i ordered something. The sushi is bad, no taste at all although there are many varieties. To my surprise the famous Wasabi is not at all spicy. I still wonder whether its Wasabi or Avocado paste. I wasnt charged for Sprite, so not sure if drinks are free. But for $10.99, the food offered is more than enough. Ice creams are not good, but fried shrimp and crab legs are so good. Lot of stuff for kids. Ill try it again for sure but not in immediate future.

We have eaten here several times. Most of the time, all is good! They brought back the coconut shrimp and I was glad, that used to be a favorite. I was happy to see the wall was repaired, but the dirty fish pond every time we go in is somewhat nausiating. The glass at the boothes is not cleaned very well, smudgy and smeared and gives the impression that the restaurant is not clean, if they would use windex and newspaper, it would clean up a lot better. A few small things that could be cleaned up and the restaurant would have a much better appearance. The lettuce on the salad bar is not small enough. The crab salad at the salad bar was tough and not very cold. Please, kitchen manager, taste test your food before serving. We will continue to go back, but would love to see a few things improved on.

If I could give this 0 stars I would I seen such great reviews on it Im not sure if it use to be good and went downhill or if there just reviewing there self but everything I had was cold or nast to the point I wasnt Evan willing to wait for hot food it was that bad on top of it when we let then m know how displeased we were with there service all we got was a okay not a sorry or anything else she then went and got somebody else who proceeded to say can I get something fresh for u so u dont go home on empty stomachs which we went interested in he said he could give us a 50 percent discount which I did not think was fare I didnt Evan eat 50% of my food no where near that only thing I really Evan touched besides trying was my soda and thats a shame

We were impressed by their selection, however their food was hit and miss on quality. The sushi was great, but some of the fried goods were stale. My family was from another state, so we went there with confidence. Everyone was a little ill from the cuisine. What disappointed us most was what we found on the wall next to the buffet. The wall was broken up and needed repair. My mother and I saw a cock roach on the wall before we left. We were all contemplating asking for our money back. Will not be going there again. I really hope they take care of the problem, because they had such friendly employees.

I came here with a big group a few weeks ago. As my friends know, buffets arent my favorite but Hibachis seem better than most. Theyre clean, food is rotated often, and the recipes are above average imho. This time I binged on their crab legs... the seasoning on them is outstanding, even though I am generally a crab-legs-and-drawn-butter gal. Of course they werent King crabs. Someone in our group was celebrating their birthday that day so we gave our server some candles and he brought some type of orange (and Jello perhaps?) cake that was delicious but super sweet.

My family and I had dinner here tonight and all got sick. I called the manager and explained how we had met family (who do not live in the same household) for dinner and everyone including my young children got stomach cramps and diarrhea. He said "hundreds of people came here to eat today and you are the only to say this" to which I responded: "ok, so you need more families to get sick in order to take it seriously and investigate?" He offered a discount next time we came in, but no amout would be worth us risking getting sick again!

08 Feb 2016 (New Mgt, Turn for the Worse) My family and I are frequent customers of the hibachi grill buffet, and have enjoyed their food for quite some time. However, they just changed management and seem to think they can make a few extra bucks by cheapening the buffet food. Sauces now look like cheap food service prepackaged stuff and have a thick layer of oil on them. Egg rolls are a gooey mass of dough with almost no filling. My daughter threw up, and my son had massive diarrhea after we ate. I will not be going back.

I was at Hibachi Grill the night before Mothers day. I mainly went there for the crab legs, but was told they were saving the large crab legs for Mothers day. So I had small legs which were very greasy and spicy and had black stuff in them. The only other thing I had was a salad. This morning, I woke up with severe stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting. When I called the restaurant, they didnt even apologize. I will never go back there (and this is the first time I have ever written a review)!

I would give 5,stars because of consistency of presentation,quality Despite the fact how high cost of groceries gone up,they are able to serve so many kinds of seafoods. Many type.of shrimp Didhes,crab dishes and few types of clams.I dont know how they can manage the price so low. We have been going few years,we never have any complains about services. Thank you Hibachi for being there for us. For those days I dont want to go Grocery shpping,cooking and do dishes!

The buffet was not very good there was only a few things that tasted okay and they were perpetually out. The watermelon was mostly rind, the chicken tasted overdone and mushy. The peel and eat shrimp tasted old. The only good things were their egg drop soup, ice cream, and sushi which was very warm.The Holliday buffet was overpriced and the owner was very rude. I wish I would have gone to joyluck buffet instead.

The food is decent and they have a very large selection. All the food is kept stocked unlike many buffets I have been to. They usually dont have any wait time to sit down. The staff is very quick with drinks. I have noticed the food isnt quite as good as it was in previous years. Use coupons from the West County mailer and local magazines to cut down on cost!

If you want quality food, this is not a place to go. If you want to eat a full meal with cheap price, this is the place to go. Just like any cheap buffet, it has a lot of low quality of food. The service is good and there are abundant selections and choices. I went there more than a dozen times and never experienced any problem with their food.
