Went into Red Heat on Saturday evening (11/19) at 7pm. We were treated by three hostesses at the front door and informed them that there would be four in hour party and we wanted to sit at the high top tables near the bar. The hostess stated that there would be a wait. I asked why and she stated that they did not want to over burden the kitchen staff. I observed numerous open booths within the dining area and there were open seats at the bar and at least 8 open high top tables. I asked to speak to the manager. A Steve came out and identified himself as manager, he was dressed like a bar patron. I inquired as to why we could not sit at the high tops. Steve stated that there was a waiting list for people ahead of us. I have no problem with waiting my turn however the establishment was not even a full capacity and explained that to Steve. He said he would let us sit at the high top table. The staffs stories were all over the radar. Steve said what could he do to make it right. I said I did not need anything from him. Spent 1.5 hours there and never heard or saw from the manager again. Waiter was excellent, however rest of staff needs more training. Hate to see the place at full capacity. Needs Improvement!!

Average. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 3 is because its a high price to pay for the average experience. I had the classic burger and my children had two kids meals. The kids meals were not bad and was nice to see a variety of sides they could choose (3 in fact ) my $13.00 burger and onion rings was not impressive. To start the some of the onion rings were cold on the inside. They lacked any distinct flavor. I seriously would skip these. I left most of them on the plate. Now for that 13.00 basic burger. It was platted with lettuce and tomato underneath it on a toasted bun. Now I dont know about you but normally I put the tomato and lettuce on top of my burger. So I had to reconfigure my whole burger just to eat it. The flavor was good but I have had better for that price. Finally when I got to the last few bites I noticed the bun was hard and stale on the edge. The rest of the bun was fine but it was disappointing. We were 1 of 4 or 5 tables in the place and servers still were not very attentive. Would not go back for food.!!! Perhaps a drink at the bar...but then again why would I if I could go next door and grab some brews at half the price.

When we first walked in we thought the place was nice. They asked us if we wouldnt mind a high top table. Not familiar with the layout we said "sure". They sat us right in front of the kitchen. We asked for a different table and they accommodated us. The server was pleasant and helpful. My husband ordered a burger that came with fries. I had the Big Greek Salad. And my son had the ribs minus the BBQ sauce that came with fries and coleslaw. My husbands burger was good but they kind of fell short with portions he didnt get many French fries. The Big Greek Salad fell short as well. My sons ribs were burnt and he also barely had any fries we sent back the first plate of ribs only to have the second plate to be just as burnt. The Manger asked if we were happy with the second plate and ended up taking it off the bill. The staff was pleasant but for the cost and the portionshirts I dont think we will be back.

Great, casual dining experience...Im kind of mystified by the one-star reviews that complain about noise (its a flippin smokehouse & bar, not a funeral home) and complaints about a managers inattentiveness after he was told by the patron that "I did not need anything", but I guess you cant please everyone. Personally, we were very pleased with our meal and service...the food was significantly better than, say, the Ninety-Nine or Buffalo Wild Wings, the portions were actually less than the obscenely oversized meals served at many similar places, and the service couldnt have been more pleasant. This aint The Capital Grille, but well be back, with friends next time...

Ive only ever been to the Red Heat in Wilmington, which I love for its tacos and trivia Tuesday, and this one definitely lived up to my expectations. The waiter we had was pleasant and polite, and was on top of making sure drinks were filled and that our orders came out quickly. The beer selection was decent; I ordered a Long Trail Limbo IPA. We did the stuffed tater tot appetizer (delicious), and I had the Turkey Tips for my meal. The turkey was tender and juicy, and the rice side had a good flavor. Just a little spicy, but not too much. This location is definitely convenient for work lunches.

This was our first time trying Red Heat in Bedford, and my wife and I were very impressed. Food, service, & ambiance were all first-rate. The ribs were excellent (meaty, tender, flavorful) and my wife enjoyed the turkey tips, as did I. The cherry cheese cake (which is really a kind of fruit-topped cheese cake without the crust) was a welcome surprise. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. I think this place will do well and I can recommend it highly. --Ron Pies P.S. My only suggestion: serving some bread or bread sticks, prior to the main meal.

The food was OK, the service good, but the overwhelming aspect of the place was the noise! We were there on a Thursday and it was not at all crowded, but the noise was very unpleasant. I think that this is mainly a result of the industrial theme in the interior design. This involves an open ceiling, with pipes & ducts exposed and nothing to muffle the sound. The sound travels up to the steel underside of the roof and is bounced back into the dining room. We will not be going back.

First off, entirely gluten free menu is amazing to see. Upscale pub offerings at this new location. Favorite so far are the fried pickle, wings, and beer braised meatballs. Excellent service whether at the bar or table. Large beer selection and the cocktails are not to sweet as Id the general trend. Cant wait to return. Returned many times, consistently awesome.

First of I had the greatest waitress, Shannon! She knows her beers and was able to help me navigate some craft beers new to me. Her options for meal preparations were awesome. Your food is cooked to order. The dry rub on the braised ribs was delish! The manager checked on me to see if I was happy. The decor is wonderful. Oh, and the prices were reasonable.

The quality of the food is very, very good, and the service is fine. The atmosphere is a little lacking-- the proprietors have obviously imagined this as a larger brand and developed the clumsy, sterile branding youd expect from a major casual chain. That said, it might work if they can maintain their impressive food!

Great beer selection and friendly staff. Plus, food options for just about everyone. They have weekly events such as trivia and a running club meeting, and even have a 15% discount for active duty military. Ive only been here twice, but its going to become one of my go-to spots
