To be fair, the sushi we ordered was really good and because of that we WERE regular customers. With that said, everything else about our recent experience was awful. We received the three sushi rolls roughly thirty minutes after ordering. While eating them I ate my last piece of ice out of my empty water glass that later got refilled with no ice. Another thirty minutes passed before we asked about our entrees that had been ordered at the same time. Long story short, they lost one of them. So we asked them to remove the entrees from the check (we had already paid the tab to save time due to the slow service). Ten minutes later, the server returns with one of the entrees and asks if we want it and to just remove the other one. We asked that they both be removed because we had no more time to eat because we had to be somewhere. Five minutes later, she returns with a manager (hefty older blonde woman) who took our cards to fix the checks. Roughly another five minutes passed before she returned to say, "So really this isnt right but......you got your sushi right?" We said, "yes". She then said "Ok because he took your whole meal off and, honestly, since your did get sushi, you should pay for it. Would you mind if I go run your card on a new check to pay for the sushi?" Keeping in mind that twenty minutes had passed from the time that we had first asked for the check to be fixed and we were now late to other plans, I said "No". She then told me, "remember that you reap what you sew". REALLY!!!!? Let me allow you to waste twenty more minutes of my time on the check. We will never go back!! I am thankful for whoever "he" was and that he cleared the entire cost. I would have been happy to pay for the sushi rolls we did eat. Unfortunately the poor servers and overly rude manager changed my mind and have lost any future business from us.

Have not been a frequent guest of this restaurant but I will never be back after the events that took place this past Saturday night. We ordered our food and drinks. Most of the guests waited 15 minutes for drinks but 30 minutes later they decided to bring me my Sweet T. I feel like they were short handed and I feel like everyone understood that. 45 minutes later they brought out the food. Each of the 6 in our party ordered some sort of beef and it was ICE COLD. The chicken and shrimp were cooked just fine. We ask to speak to the manager. She came out and basically told everyone at the table that we were lying and that no one had cold food under her watch. She went to the back and brought back some chef. He started speaking roughly and the lady manager yelled at the top of her lungs "YOUVE HAD IT OUT FOR US SINCE YOU WALKED IN when in fact there was no complaint made until we asked to speak to the manager. "IF YOU DONT PAY FOR YOUR FOOD, WE WILL CALL THE AUTHORITIES" when in the fact the only statement made by the party I was with was that we didnt feel like it was right to be charged for ICE COLD beef. She started yelling louder about not being perfect and going off. They then brought 6 to go boxes and slammed them on the table and basically said that if we didnt like it, to go home and warm it up. The only "adjustment" to the bill was for free cokes and a 10% discount. Everyone paid 20 dollars a piece for some food to take home and warm up. Needless to say that the lady manager was EXTREMELY unprofessional. We will NEVER be back to this restaurant as long as I live

Me and my boyfriend have come here quite frequently and we love it! Never have had a problem! Until tonight, we came in around 8pm on a Sunday night. Both of us ordered off of the Dinner Entree part of the menu(which includes soup and salad). The waitress informed us that they didnt have the lettuce for the salads(which is mine and my boyfriends favorite part of he meal)...about 5-10 after we got our food, a party of 6 and a table of 2 ordered their food and they all receive salads....and our waitress didnt make an attempt to fix our meal or offer us the salads...kind of disappointed :(

I do not know about the rest of the reviewers, or if something changed, but I think the food here is top notch. It is the BEST Sashimi and Sushi in town. Far better than what you get at Jasmine and with a much more extensive menu. Although, it is called a Japanese Steak & Sushi place they also have a lot of Korean food, which, having been to Seoul, Korea, is very good. I have not had the Hibachi yet, but I saw other people having it and the servers definitely put on a good show. Come here if you want to take a break from American food and try something different!

Our waitress charged all the food that was supposed to come as a combined meal, separately, so total was through the roof and had to be re-worked. Even after explaining what she deducted from bill, the numbers didnt add up. It took 45 minutes for sushi chef to make one role with no compensation. Ive eaten here twice and both times the chef neglected to include certain ingredients that I had requested. I even told the waitress the second time to MAKE SURE they were included, to no avail. Only good thing about the whole experience was the calamari appetizer.

The cuisine isnt authentic Japanese, instead it is Korean cuisine. The staff are very friendly and do their jobs well and the food is tasty and decent for a town of this size. But several sources within the business claims that its lowest paid workers, the servers, are forced to tip salary workers their tips up to 50%. I know that when I eat at a restaurant and tip my servers, I expect them to receive all of my tip for their payment of doing a job well done. I think it is wrong to exploit lowest paid workers no matter what the job is.

my wifes birthday dinner. did the hibachi. didnt disappoint. drinks, appetizer, soup, salad, hibachi combos. got out the door for $100 including tip. wife had filet mignon and shrimp, i had scallops and shrimp. shrimp were a wee bit overcooked, scallops were a wee bit raw. everything else was absolutely delicious. we live 50 miles away, worth the drive. maybe well return sooner than our birthdays. BTW; appetizers were out of this world delicious.

This place was phenomenal. I went to this place with a group of friends, and all of the staff were really nice. The chefs were great! Very skilled and humorous. Our group was huge, and one server in particular was absolutely amazing. Her name is Cella, and she is witty, sassy, and funny. Such a great personality. She made our time there even better!

Brought the kiddos for a schools out celebration (something we do every year) but the lunch menu is unavailable at the grill...pretty much ruins the experience bc who wants to pay almost double for lunch. Every other shogun has has the lunch menu at the grill as well. Very disappointing. Hope the food is good.

The food was great but our service was deplorable. After trying to get our tickets fixed, we were approached by an employee who rolled her eyes, threw her hands up, and argued with our entire table about fixing the tickets. We waited over thirty minutes just trying to get our checks fixed. Do not recommend.
