Visiting from out of town and staying just around the corner we had breakfast here. It was really good. I liked that the place was spacious enough to have a seat and eat comfortably. The same night we stopped in for a warm drink and tart around 7:20 PM. I didnt really like how the cashier talked to me when I asked for a tart, she asked if I wanted fruit or pecan. There was only a fruit one left by then end of the day, so why give me options and attitude. We sat down to eat & drink for a bit and I asked what time they closed because I didnt see times posted on the door. She said they close at 8 and were actually about to leave when we walked in. Ok, I didnt think anything of it because we still had 40 minutes until close. Well at about 7:40 she asked us in a rude tone if we were almost done because they wanted to go home already. I told her I thought we had until 8 and she pointed at a man and said "hes the boss and were ready to go." Weird! Is that something common people in NY do, shove you out and close early?

This is a nice little gentrified addition to El Barrio. Located a few steps from housing projects, this cafe is surprisingly good. I was a little hesitant to try this place-- I mean, it looks huge and their pastries look cloyingly sweet. However, I was proven wrong. Pastries arent overly sweet-- apple turnover and coconut macaroon were awesome and fresh. Coffee is also REALLY good-- definitely a great brew. AND at least they offer soy milk at no extra cost. OH and theres a bakery in the back-- you can actually check out the dudes making cakes at the back. I love watching people bake.... for maybe a good 5 minutes and then Im bored. But its a cool 5 minutes regardless. Check this place out if youre in the mood for coffee and something sweet & you happen to be in the area!

Most amazing breakfast bagels in the area. Our apartment was right above this place and we always bought breakfast to go before starting our busy day of tourism. Try their fantastic orange juice! Staff is sooooo nice. Definitely will go back if we visit NY again.

Fulfills my needs for a quick breakfast, cheap bagel with cream cheese and pretty good coffee. One of my favorites for breakfast and even ordered out once. The French Toast was amazing and thick. I extremely recommend you check this out. Good coffee

MyNY is my go to breakfast place. The two eggs anyway combo is the best bang for your buck anywhere in Manhattan. Service is amazing and freshly baked pastries are delicious as well. Love this place!

Food is good but their service is terrible. Will not be going there again. They like to talk about their customers with the phone line open.
