Its not fancy over the top. Simple Italian food thats really good. Dont be afraid to try the raisin and cheese ravioli. I try to make a point of grabbing some frozen ones if Im just rolling through Cumberland. If youre a group of 2 or more, I recommend trying the Family Style dinner. Youll get all of their pasta dishes, sausage, and pizza. Gives you a good sample and idea of all of the dishes they offer. You can skip the side salad. Its the one thing they could work harder on. However, everything else is so good that you can overlook it.

Best Italian Food Ive ever eaten. FAR surpasses Bucca De Beppo by price and flavor. The sauce isnt MY favorite but my FAMILY loves it. I love the "rats" and so do my children & grandchildren. The ravioli is the best in this country. Contrary to what "Brian" stated earlier in his "review"...the food IS homemade. I have the cookbook! Im not a family member either. Just a loyal customer whos been coming back for more than 50 years and the tradition lives on. Great place to take your family. Babies included. All are Welcome in this place!

I ordered the spaghetti with sausage and it may have been the most disappointingly bland food Ive ever eaten at a restaurant. The sauce was like weak ketchup, salt and oregano. The sausage was as far from Italian seasoning as humanly possible; it tasted like meat seasoned with barely a touch of pepper and fried in chicken fat. Even the plates, silverware and decor were uninspiring. The food came out fast and the staff was great, but the food was inexcusable.

We often drive from Hudson because we love Bona Casa. Even though the menu is small, everything on the menu is amazing. Plus everything is all homemade and at a very reasonable price. I especially love the cheese chicken ravioli and the homemade sausage. We tell every one about Bona because it truly is one of those discretely advertised mom and pop gems in the middle of nowhere.

Clean facility. Friendly staff. Fairly standard food (ravioli, spaghetti, pizza, etc), but its so good. The red sauce is amazing, and available for sale to take home in a jar if youd like some (pints or quarts). Summer weekend nights can be extremely busy, so be prepared for a line. Definitely worth the wait though!

Mind blowing food. You cannot get better home made Italian anywhere. Period. Been eating it for over 26 years now. Over the years to busy to dine in on visits, but always have time to stop by and load up on frozen pasta, sausage and sauce. Buy enough for about ten meals atleast if you dont live close :)

My FAVORITE Italian restaurant, my family has been going here for years. Its a surprise gem in the middle of a cornfield! Everything is homemade. If you wanna do it right go for the family style- you get a taste of a variety of menu items including the AMAZING cheese and raisin raviolis!

I would give no stars if I could. The food is over priced considering it all comes from a huge industrial can. The pasta maybe homemade (flour and eggs) but nothing else is. What a waste of money! Must be all family and friends that have given such wonderful reviews.

Ive had the cheese and raisin ravioli shipped to NYC and Seattle, cooked it for friends, but it cant compare to the fresh stuff. Glorious, magical wonderful stuff you cant find anywhere else. Be one of the few lucky ones to experience it.

Same sauce with different noodles. But I guess people really like it cause you get a ton of food. 1st time, not impressed. 2nd time only confirmed the 1st. There will not be a 3rd time. Sorry.... Spice up that sauce!

Worth the stop. The rasin ravioli is hands down the best. I recommend this place to anyone that is driving through or near. I always leave with frozen ravioli and sauce to make at home.

You get lots of good for a good price! We liked the pepper jack sauce and cheese & raisin ravioli, and those who tried the house made sausage and meatballs liked those too.

Local place. Great food. During the lunch hour you have to do takeout. You can still order everything on the menu. I just took my food and went the the local beach and ate.

Great pasta, especially the ravioli. Sauces are pretty weak. We get the frozen ravioli and take it home regularly.
