First time there will be my last time there. Got in at 5pm on a Thursday night, not very busy at all. The hostess was very sweet and seated my sons and I very promptly. It was her first day there according to her. Our waitress came by about 15 minutes later to take our drink orders. 5 minutes later we received our 2 Shirley temples and cup of coffee. After ordering our food, and stressing that I did not want zucchini and carrots in my carnitas de polo, we waited another 20 minutes to receive the food. Our waitress did not stop by our table one time after taking our order. A kitchen staff member and the hostess who seated us are the ones that brought out our food. The food was bland and not authentic by any means, plus it had the carrots and zucchini I had indicated very clearly that I do not want. We finished our food and waited another 15 minutes for our waitress to bring our check. I asked the hostess if we could get our check and the hostess indicated she would let our waitress know we were ready for the check. Well, she never came. The "first day on the job" hostess brought us our check and took our payment. I thanked her for her wonderful service. As we were leaving, our waitress came out of the kitchen and said "thanks for coming in" and then proceeded to our table to pickup whatever tip she thought was there. Needless to say, we did not leave her a tip. Our hostess on the other hand earned a tip, and our respect. Save yourself some time, frustration and wasted money on mediocre food..... go to Playa Bonita in Marysville instead.

Super clean! Love the decor and architecture of the place. The chips and salsa are pretty good. Went for lunch, specifically for street tacos because its the first picture on their google page. They dont normally sell street tacos in the restaurant at all, they just have a special in the bar area that doesnt start until 3 (so that picture needs to be fixed). Luckily it was 2:40 so I ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup to start. It was horrible! I cant think of one single Mexican dish that is made with broccoli in it. But my soup had broccoli. And they put grilled chicken in it. So all you can taste is the grill. Basically bagged frozen veggies boiled in chicken stock with reheated grilled chicken and tortilla strips so big they make you have to dig to get to the soup. And 1/4 of an avacado.

This is my go-to Mexican-food destination. An amazingly friendly staff, the best salsa Ive ever had, and decent prices are a few great things they offer. On top of that, they have plenty of TVs for sports events in the bar, and some excellent drink & appetizer specials to pair. The icing on the cake is that today I thought they opened at 10 a.m. for the Seahawks game, when they in fact were open at 11. I called ahead and explained the misunderstanding and they gladly invited us in to watch the game until their breakfast buffet (which is also a great deal!) began at 11. Shout out to Ricardo for this! Cant say enough great things about this place! Thanks, Mazatlan!

Updated review. Monday nights are $2.99 burritos at the bar area and Tuesdays have $5 all you can eat tacos in the bar area. The food isnt amazing these days but you get so many tacos!!! Great decor and staff are helpful. The regular menu is great and very high quality. It might be my new favorite place for Mexican food in the Everett area. The atmosphere is very festive and fun.

I had the chicken and beef fajitas and they were terrible. Completely flavorless, the carne asada was tough and the portions were super small for being one of the most expensive things on the menu. The rice was old and the beans tasted like they came straight from a can. Nothing at all like the Mazatlan restaurant in Mountlake Terrace near Cinebarre... very poor quality.

nasty nasty nasty food stale food poor customer service I had to ask to get more water for my tiny cup. then after eating it took 15 min to get our check. overpriced food for the quality. I would never recommend or eat there again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!!!

It was good food and kind service. I got lunch special of 2 chicken enchiladas. No complaints. The salsa before the food arrived was my favorite. I dont like really hot salsa and it was just right for me. They only had one flavor though. My wife had the steak and eggs.

The service is great the employees are extremely courteous, you get that feeling that they are there to make u comfortable and not annoy you every five min, like some restraunts do. Always got good specials and happy hours. Overall a great place to eat downtown.

Delicious street tacos. Happy hour you get 4 steak tacos for $7. It comes with a fire roasted jalapano that is so tasty in between tacos. The margaritas are only 3.25.. Best tacos ive had in washington besides my own kitchen. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I love Mexican food and decided to try this place. The food was good and the service was ok but Im giving it 2 stars because a few hours after leaving we both started getting sick to the point of puking. I wont be coming back

I know the owner personally and he assures me that the location is NOT CLOSED and their hours of operation have not changed. Some unauthorized user hacked their Google listing and they are currently trying to work the bugs out with Google.

Awful, I went based on the fact they had a lunch menu and when I got there and started going through the menu they told me they only serve dinner on weekends... So ordered food and it was basically just bland mush for $12.
