The cake part of the cupcakes were wonderful, but the icing was grainy and too sweet. There was inconsistency in the amount of icing on each cake. When there is more icing than cake it can be overwhelmingly sweet. I ordered a small glass of milk, but did not get it. Finally my biggest upset was there was a hair in the icing of the champagne flavored cake. I noticed it after the first bite and threw it out. It is simple to avoid grainy icing, and yet so many bakers overlook that. I would check with a professional cake baking company to find out how to avoid that problem. Never use table sugar for sugar, but you can grind sugar up in a new spice or coffee grinder to make it very fine, but not sweet like confectioners sugar. Or use simple sugar. Again the cake part of moist and tasty.

Cupcake Heaven has 8 cupcake flavors all the time and 4 flavors of the week. You will find favorites like chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet but also new combinations such as maple bacon and peanut butter and jelly. Many of the cupcakes have a jelly or cream inside but not all. Cupcake heaven also makes espresso drinks, coffee, and tea and has a limited selection of cold beverages. There are a number of tables inside, a couch seating area, and a porch with seating. The porch is enclosed. Cupcake heaven also sells a number of items such as jewelry, decor, cards, books, etc. Parking is free and shared with a number of other small shops. I have never seen the parking lot completely full except for Town of Haymarket events.

The vegetable quiche was juicy not dry and full of ingredients and flavorful, cupcake was beautifully detailed and delicious, coffee woke me up lol so it did the job! :-) very friendly ladies lots of people ordered cupcakes for school and wedding cakes while I was enjoying my own order so Im assuming they fulfill big event batches for cakes and cupcakes... :-) came back AGAIN this time for the Boston cream and Pink Champagne cupcakes another house blend red eye that they French Press made, and of course another delicious juicy vegetable quiche....LOVE THE QUICHE....also Im so relaxed whenever I hear good music they play oldies...I LOVE OLDIES MUSIC :-)

Its a nice place with a "coffee shop" vibe but for me the cupcakes were just okay. My wife and I each got a few while we were in the area. All of mine were filled which made it so the cupcakes were about 70% icing and 30% cake. I think its pretty gross to be eating what is basically a big pile of icing but I know that a lot of people like it this way so to each his own. My wife said the ones she got werent over iced or filled so I may have enjoyed it more if I got some of those. The woman at the counter was very friendly though.

Right size cupcakes, always interesting flavors. Cupcake heaven is in a spacious place, never seems too busy but I guess you can only eat so many cupcakes. It usually takes me a few minutes to finally decide especially if they have seasonal/special cupcakes like Maple Bacon. I pair it with their house blend coffee and all is well. I typically hang out in cafes like this but here I feel out of place since it is not that busy.

Being from DC and a frequent Georgetown Cupcakes visitor, I was of course skeptical about getting my mother-in-laws birthday cupcakes at Cupcake Heaven, but they were wonderful. The service was great, the cupcakes were delicious, and they even had quiet a variety. I would certainly recommend them and will be stopping in again when Im out in Haymarket.

First time stopping in with my wife a 2 yr old and wont be the last! Stopped in for dessert, what a great spot, friendly service, they explained everything perfectly! Hard to pick one they all looked amazing, went with pink lemonade, red velet and believe a triple chocolate. Soooo good, moist and amazing! See you soon.

I bake gourmet cupcakes and always have to ry new cupcake shops when I go places. This place was BY FAR the best I have ever tried! Every flavor I tried was delicious, fresh, icing was creamy, lot had fillings, and the service was exceptional! Everyone should try this place out and support an excellent cupcake shop!

Cute and fun cupcakes! The icing is the best part. I have been several times, and plan to stop by again today to get some for my sons birthday. The service is fast and friendly, and I like that they sell items from the locals.

I havent had many cupcakes but from the Cupcakes Actually in Fairfax Corner. These are by far better than that. I really loved these cupcakes and the frosting is really soft and isnt overly sweet. I will be returning soon!

I think children would love this place. everythings in pink. good cupcakes. However, I just went here to get some coffee. It wasnt that good. to be honest. a regular coffee was very mediocre.

Great gluten free cupcakes available in the fridge. The icing is very light and the cakes have a great texture! Im so grateful to have GF dairy free cupcakes as a great tasting option.
