Friendly staff, but drive thru orders and consistently wrong. Over the years, the portions have gotten much smaller while the prices have consistently gone UP! What used to be a bowl is now a cup of soup and what used to be a cup is more like half a cup. The bread they give you is sometimes very small and sometimes normal. Just depends on whos serving apparently. The salads are miniscule and youll be lucky to get enough dressing to cover 1/4th of the lettuce. If you arent ordering Brocolli Cheddar or another thick soup, expect lots of water and not much more. Espcially anything with rice or beans....lots of water. Their iced lemon drink is very watery and not sweet. It used to be great, now its pretty nasty. For over a $3.00 drink, youd think they would have kept the original version and not tried to skimp on flavor. YUCK! Inside the restaurant, you are usually greeted by nice folks, however, once in a while, youll get a drill seargent at the cash register. Imagine "Soup Nazi" meets southern suburbia. Its not very pleasant to have someone yell "NEXT PERSON PLEASE" several times near your ear when you are trying to order lunch. When you receive a wrong order and try to have it corrected, expect to be greeted with a big heaping pile of attitude. Bottom line? Go somewhere else! Mimis is right up the street and you can get a quart of soup for 5 bucks PLUS a smile!! Yay!:)

We arrived on a quiet Sunday afternoon (around 4pm). The kids sandwich was awful! They served the heal of the bread and it was VERY hard. Not something I would want a toddler to try to eat. We had to throw 1/2 of it out. My wifes sandwich was covered in onions and loads of sauce with hardly any meat. The cheese wasnt even close to being melted. Very expensive waste of time. And THAT is just the food.... the restaurant was disgusting!!! There was whole pieces of bread and crackers on the floor; not just in one area, it was all over! The carpet looked as if it hadnt been swept, mopped nor vacuumed in quite some time. The trash area was covered in soup & soda residue and desperately needed wiped down. The restrooms..... just ewe. This location in Hendersonville is the absolute worst Panera experience in the State of Tennessee! Save your money and go next door to Texas Roadhouse.

I had a somewhat confused experience here. Im always interested in trying new "continental" food so I came here not knowing what to expect. The dishes are very interesting, but the prices are high. It has a fast food feeling with a fine food taste. You order what you want at the cashier and get a cup for your drink and a buzzer, and when your buzzer goes off, you pick up your dish at a window like a soup kitchen. The dining room is not kept very clean, the floors need attention and tables deserve to be wiped down. A more formal setting with menus and waitresses would do wonders for this play. The food is surprising good but pricy, but the dining room definitely needs more attention. If you eat in, youre going to be looking for the table that appears the most clean. Next time, Im taking my order to go -

The service is always good, and I hate to give a bad review for a place Ive eaten at so much in the past, but Im really not fond of eating there anymore since they made such drastic changes to their menu. Gone is the Italian Combo that I craved every week; replaced with a nasty The Italian that is just terrible. I would replace it with Clam Chowder in a bread bowl, but thats only on the menu maybe one day a week now. Its laughable to me that a company that serves primarily bread and sweets is trying to appear "healthy" now. We now eat here about half or a third as much as we used to.

Im on the road a lot and have a bunch of food allergies/intolerances. When I order the one menu item I can have at Panera, which I still have to modify, its never an issue; except at this Panera. Today the staff had to remake my salad twice and although the girl working the counter was apologetic and kind, the manager was rude and implied it must have been something I had done to confuse the order. This is the only Panera in the country I have been to that has routinely been inaccurate with my order; it also has the worst wait times.

Tonight was the second time in the last few weeks I went to get soup in a bowl and they were out of the bowls. I found that out after waiting at the register to order while I could hear employees having a chat fest behind the side counter. Finally someone said there is no one working the register again! As my husband and I sat down we noticed how messy the store was. The sandwiches we ate tonight were good but the overall experience was less than stellar.

Today we tried the Rapid Pick-Up from the app. Our food was bagged and ready to go as soon as we entered the restaurant. Definitely a plus if you are in a hurry. I also noticed that they are hiring delivery drivers. This will be amazing when school is back in session. Teachers are always looking for food that can be delivered other than pizza.

The decaf coffee was empty. Didnt see anyone bring out another pot so got a half cup of light roast. When we arrived there was an employee getting something and 2 at register but no other customers around. We waited till they were done talking to order.

Consistently messes up orders and is terrible about keeping bagels in stock on the weekends. If there was any competition in the area (like a Paradise Bakery, Einstein Bros, or Wildflower) this location would be out of business.
