One of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia.Their apple tart is the best that Ive had. No other apple tart or pie is comparable to Tropicana Restaurant apple tart. They must marinate their apples in cinnamon and brown sugar and then bake them at a low temperature for hours. If you vaguely like apple tart or pie, you must try it! Prior to eating their dessert, I thought that I hated apple pie. The problem with most apple pie is that the apples are too firm and under-cooked... Tropicana Restaurant has other wonderful food such as greens, sweet plantains. and plenty of lime. The ambiance is relaxed and fabulous. Tropicana Restaurant is very colorful, breezy, and rustic. Also, this Restaurant has good hours.
