I went here after hearing they roast coffee on premises. I met Chef James and he said he only had one kind of coffee. Id never heard of this but I got a pound anyway. It was the best, most perfectly roasted coffee Id had. Its pretty much all we drink now. I picked up a baked goods while there and was very pleasantly surprised. The chocolate croissants are unbelievable. The bread is tender with a beautiful crust and great flavor. Next visit we tried the cupcakes. My wife pointed at a beautiful chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache on top. Chef James said it was a Guinness cupcake. Beer-flavored cupcakes? I love cupcakes and I love beer, but not together. Right? Wrong. These cupcakes were the most exciting synergy of flavors Ive ever experienced in a cupcake for sure. These were delicious, tender, chocolatey cakes, not too sweet, with the best part of the Guinness flavor playing harmony. Crazy good with espresso. Last week, my wife got a birthday cake for me from Cafe Chocolade. Ill tell you this much. Well never buy a birthday cake anywhere else. It was exquisite. The room fell silent as the cake was consumed and our guests are still talking about it. I rarely write reviews, but this guy has got something going here that merits review. I havent tried the lunches or dinners, although I hear theyre great. Stop by this place. Have an espresso, a piece of biscotti, and take home a pound of coffee. You wont be sorry. Huge gluten-free selection too.

Hidden gem. Looking for healthier lunch after leaving the airport. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Can speak that the salad and Angus burger were delicious. Theyre not wrong, built so high needed a knife and fork. Fresh, quality food. Multi grain bread was gluten free but youd never know it. Best bread I ever had. Took home cupcakes - gluten free and vegan. Presentation was beautiful but we were skeptical on taste. The Almond cupcake and chocolate cupcake were delicious. Lemon Poppy seed we were not a fan of. Would go back again especially pre order bread and pick up especially for a weekend treat.

I have been going here for a couple of years now, it is small, but fresh, the lunches are fantastic, there chairs are better then I have and are very comfy. It is cleaner then any place I have been, it is a open kitchen you can see what you are getting. They have the best Gluten Free in the Burgh and each time you go in there is something new. If you go late well they run out so call ahead or well you just get what they have let. The owner does everything it is a one man show, Its the best small business place I have seen in a long time. A+. The last review should not be judged into this small place.

This place is amazing! My wife and I were in the area for a business trip and tried this place since they accommodate to food allergies (we are both gluten-free). The food is incredible. My wife is Mexican, and said the chicken tacos were some of the best shes ever had. The pasta is delicious - all the ingredients are super fresh, and the chef absolutely knows what hes doing. They avoid cross-contamination, and we did not get sick. We came back 3 times in 2 days.

Terrible customer service but the macaroons were good. I got a tiramisu macaroon and a caramel macaroon. They were fresh and tasty. I uploaded a pic. There werent any cakes, mostly biscottis and cupcakes. For seating, this place has lawn chairs and furniture, so i didnt stay. Its very small. Goinh in went in I expected something like La Gourmadine in Lawrenceville, its not really the same or similar type of place.

My husband and I met the proprietor at Wigle where he was sampling and sourcing local products for his chocolates. He is and artist and his passion shows through in his incredible food and dessert. We arent even gluten free and this is one of our favorite places!!! Hope southern tier starts serving his craft beer cupcakes!!!

Everything was delicious! I will be going there more frequently now that Ive found it!! I found both the chef and lovely woman behind the counter to be kind and willingly to answer my questions. the gnocchi are Heaven on earth- light and airy with ethereal sauces ( depending on which you choose). Drive there FAST NOW!!

Wanted to try it out on my way home from airport. Its understandable they didnt have stuff ready as I was there only 40 minutes before opening. The one star rating comes from the rude staff member who had a general disgust of me showing up and expecting food. He was short and condensending in his tone! Would not try!

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and the BEST gluten free pastries. The pastries are moist and delicious, with no after taste. I drive 1 1/2 hours to purchade my items because they are that good. I have froze the cupcakes for up to 2 months and they are still moist.

Everything that we got at our table was delicious! The gentleman behind the counter was not the friendliest fellow, however. He was accommodating but made at least one member of our party slightly uncomfortable; never even cracked a smile.

Macaroons are melt in your mouth delicious. Coffee is rich and thank god isnt like so many local businesses whose tastes like coffee. Thank you for real coffee. Salad was really wonderful.
