Quick review Atmosphere 9/10 Food. 7/10 Value 6/10 First let me start off by saying that atmosphere of this little spot is very cool! It combines the rustic and industrial look and is a very attractive little spot. Two start off I asked the waitress what theyre specialty is, she said they are known for their ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Being our first time visiting and me loving ribs I tried their appetizer portion of ribs. They were the dry rub style, and were extremely good, they were very tender and fell off the bown! Super pleased with them! For the main course I tried their angus cheese burger, the presentation was great, however the burger itself lacked a little flavor, the smokey taste kind of overpowered it but all in all it wasnt bad. The fries that came with the burger were seasoned well but were soo thick that the taste of raw potatoe was a little overpowering making the fries taste more like baked potatoe but again, they werent bad at all! Finally the cost! Me and my wife ordered 1 ice water 1 sweet tea An appetizer of the ribs (quantity of 4) We each got an angus burger mine with fries, hers with mac and cheese (regular side option) The bill was $36 To me this didnt seem like a fantastic value in comparison to the alternative options however the overal experience was good and we will be visiting agin soon!

The Smith is everything I wanted it to be. If youve been to the Geauga County Fair, youve probably seen the BBQ stand that started it all. It was behind the grandstands near the grandstands admission gate. Now theyve opened a restaurant in the heart of Burton, Ohio. This isnt just any old Barbecue, this meats that are smoked to perfection. I had the Ribs with Macaroni and Cheese. Dinners are served with a biscuit and a slice of cornbread. The ribs were the perfect color red with only a dry rub. The sauce comes on the side, but you didnt need sauce. The ribs speak for themselves. The cornbread is yellow cornbread, just like I like it. These come with butter and strawberry jam. The macaroni and cheese comes served in a small mason jar. Also, very good. Oh, and dont forget the Banana Pudding for desert. Its almost as good as grandmas. Almost. Like I said, this isnt your typical BBQ restaurant. The food is terrific, and its going to cost you a little more, but its oh so worth it. Do yourself a favor and get the whole rack of ribs. I know I will. Ill add another review after I try the brunch and Signature Carolina Pulled Pork Sandi.

We went there a couple months ago and had an unbelievable meal, smoked brisket, home made beans, biscuits and house made jam. I have to put this resturant in the top three BBQ restaurants in cle. Our service was great the established was clean and wait staff very friendly. Fast forward to this morning we decided to try their brunch. Big disappointment!!!!! Three tables of patrons and over an hour for pancakes. We left and on our way out the waitress told the cook not to bother making the pancakes after we were told a half an hour earlier they were on the grill. No wonder the breakfast restaurant next door was starting room only. We really like this place love the BBQ but will never be back or recommended it to any one. Get it together.

Just finished dinner with my family there. Made a reservation, and was told there would be a 30-40 minute wait.... bad sign. It took 15 minutes to get a drink order placed. Clearly no management present from attitude of servers. When food arrived, trout had an overly fishy taste, fried chicken was super greasy. Told waitress about this, who went back to talk to the chef. Trout was "fresh" 6 days ago, so its still good, was her arrogant reply. Since management did not follow up, its safe to infer they werent there. No effort was made to even discount the affected items. Bad food and inept servers are all they offer here. Well never be going back, but the place next door looked like a good BBQ restaurant.

Everything was good. The ribs could use some more rub and let them sit for 24 hour before they ago in the smoker. Wife had the brisket, the crust was excellent. Should use the burnt end as another dish.Come slaw was good, make it colder and it will be excellent. I liked the smoked butter for the rolls... Peach cobbler was awesome. But most importantly the long islands were amazing!!!! Give me a shout and I will be happy to stop up and give some wonderful incite, I did win a blue ribbon for my ribs in 2013...

My family and I had the privilege of dining at The Smith on one of their first nights. It was amazing! We shared the pulled pork, fried chicken, Mac & cheese, and collard greens. Everything was delicious, and I dont normally like collard greens! They were outstanding (along with our entire meal). There is no other restaurant like it in the area, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Every detail has been thought out to make dining here such a pleasure. We cant wait to go back again!

Saturday evening dinner... Charming atmosphere. Cover band was playing inside when we arrived, so it was too loud for conversation. They moved outside to the patio - much better! The pulled pork was great, and locally sourced salads very good. We had a new server. Very attentive, but not very knowledgeable. Overall, the food and atmosphere made up for the smaller issues.

The BBQ is alright. Nothing was great, nothing was terrible. Didnt like the vinegar sauce, and Im a fan of vinegar. Im not a fan of mustard sauce, but it was pretty good here. Slaw was good, beans and mac n cheese were average. The cobbler was excellent! Inside the restaurant was very nice, prices were slightly high. Worth giving a try, you might like.

Food was terrible, was never asked for a second cup of coffee. You get one peice of toast and homemaid butter. The butter was like licking an ashtray. Will never go back. Breakfast, two cheeseburgers, total bill with tip....52.00, Was not worth 5 bucks.

The food was very over priced. I was surprised the ribs were super fatty and under seasoned. The coleslaw was plain. I just thought for that price my taste buds wouldve been in heaven. Ill never go back, it wasnt worth it the first time.

The bartender (Brett), makes this place. Hes a top notch veteran of the industry. The ribs were delicious. They also had some interesting liquors infused with various fruits. It seems like a new operation with alot of potential.

Seriously a great restaurant! Food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent! My family lives in the Parkman area, which is basically a restaurant desert, so to have a place of this caliber open up so close by is truly a blessing.

The food was only so so the biscuits were way over salted and one person in the party had to send their food back because it was overcooked. But the waitress was very very friendly and nice a very respectable
