Ive been coming to Andrews for the past 15 years. Restaurant quality food, great service at diner prices. However, over the past 2 - 3 weeks Ive been noticing their breakfast is changing. Not just me but my friends too have also noticed, and NOT for the better. The scrambled eggs are served chopped up, not whole & fluffy and the portion size is smaller. Their Turkey Bacon is 1/2 the previous size. Their home fries (never a strong point) come out minced and barely eatable. Corn muffins that are dull and have no taste. Im sad to hear that George the owner, has not been feeling well and is missing in action. Gus and Andrew, his sons, need to take note and fix this. Raise the prices if you have to. But DONT mess with quality. I hope this is just a temporary thing and not a prelude of things to come. Get well George...Please get well soon !

I love this place! My family has been going here for years and also having small private parties at the diner. Now I work across the street (at The Men With Tools) and I have to say, #1 Im probably going to gain some weight from not being able to stay away from this place and #2 they have the friendliest staff ever! Even the owner, who is always there, is present and makes sure EVERYONE is happy. I dont think I even have it in me to be as nice as the people at Andrews Diner and the Greek salad Im currently eating, while leaving this review is amazing! Go eat at Andrews if youre in the area.

Been going here for years. The best diner on Staten Island. Parking can be difficult at peak times but plenty of street parking. Great burgers and best salmon. If you like whole fish, best place on island. We go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. LOVE IT!!!!

They welcome you in as soon as you walk in and treat you very nice almost like family. The food is also very good and they have all kinds of specials and the prices are reasonable. It can get kinda crowded here especially on the weekends or around dinner time. Probably the best diner on the island

I ordered a simple wrap with turkey, spinach, tomatoes and avocado. I must say, it was well executed. Their bran muffin was on point. Also, once you have fresh squeezed orange juice that will be the only type of orange juice you will ever want to drink. The service here is good.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snack. Can accommodate large family meals, very large menu, never had a bad meal there. Staff is friendly, meals are served fresh and hot to your table and they serve great coffee.

Great food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow especially since we came off hours in the middle of the week. I had to flag down the waitress for coffee and water refills. Parking can be a challenge if you go during busy hours.

This diner is the best diner in NYC. The breakfast the food in this diner reminds a southern style comfort food. I ate in a lot of restaurants. Andrews stay consistent with there meals.....if I could I would give this diner 9

I love coming here either early in the morning, afternoon, or late nights for breakfast because no one can beat their breakfast. Great coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. Also there is a breakfast special until 11am.
