So confused by people saying the food is dry and tasteless. Having been born and raised in Queens, home to probably some of the best Chinese food you can find in the NY state, I think its fair to say I know my Chinese food. I know good Chinese, bad Chinese, and mediocre Chinese. And while Golden Dynasty definitely isnt THE BEST Chinese food Ive ever had, its definitely one of the best out in Suffolk, Long Island. I dont think Ive tried something from there I havent liked, and the family sized plates let you share with friends so you can try lots of dishes. Best recommendation I can give is trying the Poo poo platter, it never disappoints. Service is standard, ambiance is a little strange, but the food is downright delicious.

Ignore these sad zeroes on here ranting, they know nothing about great Chinese food. The review is 21 years ago and the decor just as old, and thats what I love about it. Transports me back to when I was a kid, and the food is often original and first rate. House Special soup at $7.50 for 2 had lobster in it! When you go in, look at the blow up on the wall of The NY Times review for some ideas. They dont toss out ratings like that very often, especially for Chinese food.

Consistently rated highly. Ive eaten here dozens and dozens of times over the years and dont understand the complaints below. Service has always been excellent, fast, and very friendly. Food terrific.
