I rarely eat pizza, but I have enjoyed a slice or two from this joint. The REALLY significant element to this particular pizza place is that it embraces the culture that surrounds it. There is live music, there is access for bands starting out, or on national tour, to gain exposure, or keep their fan base entertained. They have an open Mic night. There are people floating in and out, constantly, that are involved in the artistic community from all angles- the only motto of the establishment is RESPECT, and I do hold just that for this location in maintaining a source for expression in the Poughkeepsie community (also they DO have decent food, and beer).

I have not been able to eat pizza due to food sensitivities for quite awhile. My Place Pizza made a special cauliflower crust pizza for me that was absolutely delicious! The staff is so loving and friendly and they are devoted to building community through food, music, and love. This is a special place and I hope everyone gets to experience it.

Could this be the same "My Place" I knew as kid growing up in the seventies, when Main street was an open mall?! Loved this place! ❤ Pizza was awesome and I cant cant find the words to describe the atmosphere, such a friendly place, with a great local vibe! Definetly have to stop in again, sure it will feel like truly being "home again."

Well, you can really tell who is writing fake reviews on google these days, great vibe, good NY pizza. Why would someone want to slander a good restaurant? Maybe they have outside motives? Definitely. If you have been to My Place Pizza you know its a staple of Poughkeepsie, forever contributing to our little community!

Pizza and Praise on Saturdays from noon to four. This is a spiritual event for the youth to come out and show God what they do to praise his holy name. Sing, Praise dance, Mime, play an instrument, etc. The parents can take part in and praise him as well. Thank you Mr. Patrick

garlic bread made my heart fall out of my face, use less garlic. French Fries taste like they came out of the freezer section, get better french fries. Lady was cute as a button and very friendly. One of the best chicken parm subs ive ever had. = )
