Bocconcini in Little Neck has quickly become my new favorite pizza restaurant! This diminutive store on northern boulevard offers some of the best pizza in NYC as well as a varied selection of authentic italian dishes. Gus, the manager/host and chef is a delight. He has a warm and engaging personality, a creative nature, and a willingness to go the extra mile to please his customers. To date, I have tried a sensational Lasagna, Penne Vodka with chicken strips, Pizza Margarita, Sicilian Pizza, and a chicken parm hero as well as a sensational meatball parm hero. The verdict, each and every dish was meticulously prepared and they all tasted like MORE! The staff at Bocconcini are also enthusiastic, welcoming and work together as a team. All in all this little pizzazeria is all about excellence in food, and service. Highly recommended, and i will be coming back often. Kudos to Gus and his team...

What a gem! I had no expectations of great food when I dropped in for a quick slice. The perfect not too thick or too thin crust was topped with a tasty sauce, fresh garlic bites, yummy mozzarella and slices of garden picked tomatoes. It was a pie your Nona would make. Ive since returned for paninis and other pies. The owner is friendly without being intrusive. In a few words, youll meet a man who truly loves and respects feeding people. Recently, he offered our table tastes of his new breakfast menu. The pancakes were heavenly. A must for pizza and breakfast lovers;)

My new job buys us lunch and weve ordered from here 3 times in the past two weeks, though Im not sure why. First I tried the Greek salad. Boring, flavorless, dry chicken. Then I tried a personal Margherita pizza, no tomatoes, the cheese was ok, not really the Margherita I expected. Today I had the chicken panini wrap. So blah. Just chicken, tomato, mozzarella and roasted red pepper. Its really runny and theres no balsamic dressing. Its has no flavor at all. Ive worked at a pizzeria with all fresh food in a Jersey City and grew up with NY pizza. This is just disappointing food.

Presentation is good... owner/employee is nice.. but thats all this place has... the pizza garlic knots or chicken roll do not taste that good. I am from nyc i have ate these three items 1000s of times, and if i had an option, i would avoid this place.. and the price.. OMG... two slices, one order garlic knots, one chicken roll, two sodas for $18.00? like seriously... if we knew, we would have driving to bayside and went to vip pizza

Bocconcini is phenomenal all around. It has a great regular slice, a tasty chicken roll that is hand made on the spot, and great service. I would definately stop in if youre in the neighborhood or have never tried the food.

If you are stuck in the area and need pizza go get Chinese instead - its that bad. Their prices are medium to high and the food is hit or miss. The pizza gets cold quick and just doesnt taste the same when you do take out
