Pros: The guy behind the counter seemed pretty friendly Everything is homemade from scratch, so props Cons: Sandwich was unappetizing. I eat everything. EVERYTHING. And I couldnt get through this sandwich. ---> Balance between ingredients was off. Had to look to see if they put sauce on my sandwich. I didnt feel good thinking I paid 11 bucks for pastrami and a bagel. Coleslaw was bland and too dry. Fries good, but not 3.50+tax good. Overall: Id have to try it again. This place seems pretty well reviewed, so maybe it was an off day. And I did get take out, so that allows for some leeway. So Id get something else and dine in. But if all this stood, this place definitely doesnt live up to the hype or the price.

We had just finished up touring the Reeves Reed Arboretum in Summit and wanted to stop for lunch somewhere and googled lunch places in Madison. This place had a 4.8 rating, so we figured wed give it a try! Boy we were so glad we did! Super friendly guys working there, wonderful, different choices of sandwiches with great combinations of ingredients! Homemade potato chips, pickles, and cole slaw were awesome! I enjoyed a delicious, thick, vanilla milk shake too. We would definitely go back! Oh and hubby got an additional sandwich to go! Lol! We will definitely be going back! Oh, and loved the adorable young boy who greeted us when we came in

What a great spot! My girlfriend and I have been wanting to stop here for awhile, and finally had the opportunity today. The menu should have something for everyone -- their food is all farm-to-table, so all the ingredients are super fresh. And, worst case, you can build your own. Everything is served super fresh and hot, and it tastes amazing. We will definitely be back soon -- the breakfast sandwiches looked pretty delicious! TIP: You can park at the end of the Stop N Shop parking lot and walk over here, though do so at your own risk, since it is Stop N Shops parking lot.

Just had lunch at Slamwich for the second time. The food has been good both times, but greasy, just like the restaurant itself. Its quite a small space and this recent time must have been over 80 degrees, which made me wish I had opted for take-out rather than sit-down. Staff was friendly but overheated. Overall its a good option but I only go when others want to because I dont think its a good value - I think all of the Slamwiches are $9.50 and up, with salads $12-15. They also offer milkshakes but I havent had them so cant vouch.

So delicious, were definitely going back. The rosemary fries are the best Ive ever had! Everything was super fresh, we even overheard the chef saying hed smoked some meats yesterday. Cant sing the praises of this place enough.

Very interesting and inventive sandwiches, burgers, and salads, with lots of customization options. Also have good house-made pickles! On the pricey side, even for the area, be prepared to spend $30 or more for 2 people.

Great sandwiches! Dont bypass this spot - looks like a tiny hole in the wall from the outside but the food is unique and trendy. I ordered a Korean bbq brisket sanwich with kimchi and leek mayo. Highly recommended!

Great food for a reasonable price. Kitchen can get backed up though because everything is made fresh. Food is well worth the wait though. It is absolutely delicious. By and large my favorite lunch spot.
