Great food- Chinese & Sushi! My family was in Newark for NJIT graduation on Tuesday 5/16/2017...all hungry on the way out of town...mix of tastes...husband & I really wanted sushi...we arrived around 3:30p & the sushi chef was on his lunch break...the woman waiting on us called him to ask if he would make sushi...he came back early from his lunch to make us sushi!!!! we had the sushi/sashimi combo for 2...SO GOOD, SO FRESH!!! Weve had sushi all over (Phili, NY, Cali) and this was right on par! The rest of the family had Chinese which was also fantastic! Chicken & broccoli, beef & snow peas, & mei fun. Everything was so good we got an order to go....pork fried dumplings, pork fried rice, & mei fun. My husband & I live in Rochester, NY & just got home from our family trip & finished our mei fun & rice for dinner..2 days later 5/18/2017....STILL SO GOOD. My husband said he would definitely go back if we are in the area! I agree! Great find...Great food....definitely recommend!

Updated review: I was a regular customer until tonight when I had to walk out because of how I was spoken to and I wont be returning unfortunately. I used to go multiple times a week & each time I left a 20% tip. Tonight I was told I had to order more because apparently each time I go Ive been ordering less and less. Well excuse me? You cant tell me how much I have to order. Ive also never heard of having to spend a certain amount per person in order to eat? Ive heard of minimum credit card charges which is usually $10. If I go to your restaurant 3xs or more per week it shouldnt matter how much I order. YOU should be happy to have MY business. I also ALWAYS tipped 20%. No reason to turn me away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE!!! ANYONE!

The best Chinese restaurant in the area! We had our wedding reception in 2002 here. Many Rutgers/NJIT alumni come here if there is any celebration or gathering with friends, or after taking an exam. The owners here developed many special dishes! If you like authentic Chinese food, just ask the waiter to introduce to you the special stuff they have! My American friends said they have the best Chinese food - I think they are referring to the American Chinese food which I dont really want. But there are many foreigners there eating. They have one of the best sushi bars there as well! Best on the food, service and their attitude to do everything with their best efforts!

Place is terrible. All smoke and mirrors. I would go as far as question most of the reviews your seeing on this site. Wife and I ordered pork fried rice and chicken wings along with general tso chicken. The chicken wings are the same wings you get at Costco, wing zings I believe. The other chicken was rubbery. Owner refused to reimburse the cost of the meal even after I drove to the restaurant to give back the uneaten food. By the way, I asked her about the wings before I ordered. She said clearly it was three wings chopped into six pieces. So gross stay away.

This is probably the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant I have come across, even among the well known restaurants of Chinatown in NY. Theyve recently remodeled and added a new sushi bar with some amazing fusion style sushi. I wasnt a big sushi fan at first, but trying some there has made me a believer. Ask them about their sushi book which showcases some of their higher end rolls! Its a great asset for beginners like myself breaking the ice where I can see pictures of what things look like before committing.

My boyfriends cousin recommended this place. The first day we went to lunch there was AMAZING! The aura is phenomenal, the tea is amazing! The way their food is sent out to you makes it look top notch. Excellent service, excellent decor, excellent food... All in all, I LOVE IT! I practically go there every weekend. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes asian cuisine! They also have a nice fish tank with HUGE goldfish. Bento boxes are amazing, everything is to die for!

Fantastic eatery.! I have tried literally every Chinese restaurant in all of kearny and most of Harrison without kidding for the past 3 years. This is by far the only place that I return to for genuine food and real meat inside the general chicken. Highly recommended beautiful place to eat in. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because their delivery is a bit sluggish. Just dont be starving if youre going to order out.

Poor management. Dont order diced pepper chicken from here now. The quality is de-graded and quantity is less. The chicken is in stick shape than dice. When I try to give this feedback to the hotel management they were not receptive and try to find excuse and blame me. Hotel run by a family and they are not at all in sync about the operations. No preference to the customer here. Not at all recommended. Poor service and food.

Best chinese food outside of nyc...hands down went to college a mile away for years and never knew about them always had garbage chicken (pigeon) wings, or boneless spare ribs (cat) and dirty shrimp fried rice from the local chinese joints this is the fastest cleanest and tastiest chinese food youll probably ever find unfortunately...as always you want to specifically, maybe repeatedly, as for specific sauce or utensils...

They have great food , we been ordering from there since last year and half . But seems management changed or the receptionist change , now horrible service and they doesnt understand the English. Send wrong order couple of times and when i called them the lady who picks up the phone, start shouting on me .. Best way is to now avoid them.Harrison is on right path, now we have plenty of choices available in our area.

Simply the only good Chinese in the area. The fact that they deliver anywhere makes them very busy and can take some time but its worth the wait. My favorites are the veggie lomein and the Tso chicken. All white meat and thin layer of batter. And the delivery guy comes up to my door on a 4th floor no elevator building! The delivery guys from my area dont even get out their cars at times!

If you are in the area, and need to snack check this vegan place out. They are a South Indian restaurant. They have lots of different dosas to choose from. Their sambar is on point too. I asked for regular spiced masala dosa. Be warned. Even the regular dosa was very spicy. Good spot if you can handle the heat and want some dosa.

The ambiance is nice and the chinese food is good, however last time I ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy yellowtail rolls I had bones in my sushi >_<. I think sometimes a good judge of a sushi chef and the quality of fish is to see if they can do the simple rolls correctly, so Ill never order sushi there again.

Best Chinese restaurant in Harrison and Newark! Shanghai style food, good price. If you think the food was quite plain or not good, its just because you ordered some westernized-chinese-food (like the Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, etc.). But to be fair, the service is just okay...

Horrible food! Sushi is ok! Ordered chicken twice and chicken was completely RAW! First time I let it go on the second try I made sure to repeat twice "WELL COOKED" when delivered to my house first bite of sesame chicken was completely pink and raw! Worst $30 of my life.
