My first review was a 5 star now its a 1 star. Change of ownership. Im so sad it was my favorite sushi place now they dont even serve sushi. We just showed up and they have a sign open till 9. As soon as we pull up they turn their lights off, and go outside and close the door behind. Sad thing is my boyfriend called a hour early to make sure they were open till 9 they said they were. They closed 1 hour early! Couldnt believe it! Also, their google hours are not correct either. So the time we showed up before they were closed. We were going to give this restaurant another try I dont think we will. I wish the previous owners would come back.

Food and service were amazing! We were the only customers in there for lunch on a Saturday and Rose (who Im assuming was the owner) played with our 2 year old the whole time and got her to eat tofu and mushrooms! We had a blast. The whole experience was great. Nice to have something a little different in st peters. I got a short rib rice bowl and asked for it spicy. It was delicious and just a bit spicy. I asked for a knife and Rose told me thats not how you eat it and gave me these little two finger gloves so you could pick it up without getting fingers dirty. Genius! Love this place and will definitely go back.

Im an out-of-towner but when I visit my parents, I always try to grab some take out at least once from Rice Bowl. I love Korean food and their kimchi is excellent. Their take on bibimbap is not strictly traditional but it is quite delicious. I visited on 8/17 at around 6:00...and the woman behind the counter (I presume shes the owner) was very kind to me! Threw in some fish cakes (some extra banchan), etc. It was pretty quiet customer wise inside. I know it was a Thursday and theres construction on Mexico Rd. but COME ON people...the word is out that this restaurant is great. Todays Friday...go to Rice Bowl.

New ownership Korean and Sushi place. Only been open four months. My boyfriend and I have already been several times and always great friendly service and amazing food. Apart from the always great food, I love the decor. Kind of kitschy and cozy decor. All different tables with different sets of chairs, possibly second hand but makes it feel like eating at home. The sushi selection is extensive, not to be confused with a selection of rice bowl entrees. Basically an awesome conglomeration of ingredients in a large dish. Recommend the vegetable tempura as an appetizer at least.

This place is very nicely decorated with very nice China and glasses. They give you disposable chop stocks that throw of the level of wow but it works. The portion size is not great but this restaurant is more geared to an visual experience. They brought out a pallet cleanser between the appetizer and the main course. Its very nice but I would only come back if I wanted to blow some money

Dont let the unassuming storefront fool you. Rice Bowl serves delicious Korean food and sushi in a charming atmosphere! Prices and portions are fair. The lunch specials are a good deal. Service is great! Their house salad is yummy and I think its the best bulgogi Ive found at a restaurant (the key is the added sauce).

Dont be scared by the exterior; this is a St. Peters hidden gem! My wife called the interior "eclectic", and we both called the food "delicious"! Very personal and friendly service, fast, and tasty. An appetizer of mixed vegetable and shrimp tempura, followed by three rolls, ran us about $45; it was worth it!

BEWARE! My daughter paid $15 for a meal and left a cash tip. When she saw the transaction in her account the restaurant and helped themselves to a $4 tip by making the total bill$19! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Fantastic. If you like a nice quite place with friendly staff, who happen to make phenomenal Korean food (Clean cooked meats veggies and rice in a bowl). Also they have sushi that i believe is the best in the area.

Usually hit or miss. Typically they make the sushi incorrectly if something goes wrong but sometimes the quality just isnt what I expect. I wouldnt recommend the rice bowls they are bland and almost flavorless.

They have tako yaki! Pretty good, but expensive. Expect to spend at least $10-$20 per person. Good service, but we did have a water spill incident. Would probably go again.
