Very, very good food. It is as close to homemade as I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Plus they keep your coffee cup full! I went for a second time today, this time for breakfast. I found they had a seniors menu, but I went for the Wednesday breakfast special: eggs, hash browns, toast (rye bread, in my case) and bacon. There are other things one can substitute, like sausage for bacon. I also got some gravy on my hash browns. As before, excellent food. The toast was well buttered (as opposed to other restaurants). Plus, as before, they kept my coffee cup full. Keep it up, Ranch Cafe!

The place had a decent atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Some of the other places Ive been could be taking notes right now. Unfortunately, the food was somewhat disappointing. My brisket tasted like it had been there for too long, and my dad said his omelet was too heavy on the margarine. The onion rings and fries were OK. I really do not want to be too harsh on this place because the people running the place are really nice and made us feel welcome. But they really could make some improvements on the quality of their food with how much they are charging for it.

This has become one of my favorite places to eat. The food is great and the service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Unlike other places where substitutions are not allowed; at the Ranch Cafe they want you to be happy and will suggest substitutions if there is something you cant eat or dont want included on the menu for your order. This is where the locals eat - it is full of hometown friendly people.

The food used to be pretty good, but now that they are vacating the current location, it seemed as if they are using up all the stuff thats been at the bottom of the freezer. Food & service was poor even though the prices were still premium.

It may be as much a fancy place, most of the decor is from much older versions of the Ranch Cafe. But the breakfast menu has all of the normal items, cooked well with good ingredients. And the price and quantity are well proportioned.
