The food was good and served fast. However, our experience was ruined by our server who charged us twice for a margarita (we had a medium - server charged for a medium $5.49 and a jumbo $8.99). Also charged for a side of guacamole we never ordered, or received. When I brought the errors to his attention he first told me there was only 1 margarita on the bill. After much debate he admitted his mistake. When I confronted him on the guacamole he said I received a bowl of it (which I did not). When i ordered I asked if the dish came with guacamole on top of it. When he said it did I asked him if they would please not place it on my food, but over to the side. I refreshed his memory and he continued to argue with me that we received a bowl of guacamole at our table. I told him I dont even eat guacamole and would never order a side of it. I just asked if it came with to not place it on my food thinking my husband may want it. He printed out a new bill with the $8.99 margarita removed, but refused to remove the $3.29 side order of guacamole. Not pleased with spending my evening arguing with a server over their mistakes. I understand they happen, but he even asked the servers who actually brought the food if I got a bowl of guacamole served to me and they said I did not. Not worth the headache and still out the money for the guacamole I never ordered, or received.

I hope the service gets better here, didnt enjoy the first time eating here at all. From the time we sat, nobody came over for 10 minutes and that was the girl bringing the chips and salsa. The waiter didnt come until 5-10 minutes after that. Each time he took our order, he got it wrong. First with the drink order, than with one of our meals. By the time the other meal was brought out correctly, my friend had already filled up on chips and my food was cold so we turned away the food saying we didnt want it anymore and I wanted a to go box. they come back with her food boxed up and we had to explain again that we didnt want the second meal since it was incorrect and took too long to come out. The food itself was good, but I didnt leave very full. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were small and only two came with the meal along with a very small portion of rice and beans. The rice felt like 3-4 spoon fulls. This took place at 5:00 on a Wednesday. I was really disappointed and dont think Im going back.

Great decor. Atmosphere was an A+. Really wanted food to be great as well. . .Chips and salsa were very good. And while my chicken quesadilla was loaded with chicken, there was almost no cheese and the cheese that was in it was almost like a cheese spread. Very much missing the "ooey, gooey" goodness. And the tortilla was sooooo very soggy - maybe from excess chicken juice? No nice grilled crispness. No chance of picking this up, taking a bite and having to contain a warm, melted ribbon of cheddar/jack cheese. Lastly, I had the tortilla soup that was so jam packed with tortilla chips I could barely get to the liquid buried in the bottom of the bowl. My take on the food - bad proportions and sloppy preparation. Service was generally good. Hope they get the food part dialed in because this place could rock.

Went to this place and was greeted sat to wait to be seated other people started to show and got seated before me as I was waiting there about 5 minutes also cashier acknowledge me did not offer to seat me after i went up an ask why I was skip all I got are you going to order take out say no place was not busy plenty of wait staff so left to mazatlan restaurant down the street got greeted and seat within a minute and this place was busy guess they want my business

This restaurant has warm and authentic upper middle class Mexican decor. Service is impeccable and all items on their menu have a 100% authentic Mexican taste/view/feel and presentation as befitting a central Mexican eatery. If you are looking for Tex-Mex or Anerican anything you wont find it in their kitchen. Their ingredients are fresh, their desserts are scrumptious and the mixed drinks are generous. What a classy awesome place to have in Mankato!

This place is great! Its not your typical Mexican restaurant. It serves authentic, delicious Mexican food in a rich and warm environment that has all the right hues. The food is just right and a nice variety. The staff are great and informative of any questions you may have. Great for dates, families, or just a nice meal. A bit more expensive then most but wont break the bank.

Used to be a regular customer. Every one of the last few times we have had terrible service while the restaurant was nearly empty. Waiter has been rude and dismissive. Food quality has been so-so. Last time they gave us two baskets of chips for 6 people & tried to charge us for any after that...

Food was great very tasty and quick service about 12 minutes. Even though there were mistakes they were quick to fix them and the food was so good i feel no need to complain. I would recommend anyone to come here to eat everything is reasonably priced nice portions even had to bring some home.

We have previously always been very impressed with the service and selection. This time however the service was not great. We had to flag the waiter down anytime we wanted anything. He didnt check in with us. It was just kind of annoying being there was only a few tables.

The vegetarian fajitas I got were total bland. Just edible. We didnt have silverware and finally had to take silverware from an adjacent table so we could eat while it was warm. The prices are very good. Food and service were fast and the staff is warm and inviting.

I LOVE La Terraza ! Ive lived in Mankato all my life, and La Terraza is easily the best Hispanic quisine and atomosphere in the area. The service is also always excellent. Any time friends visit, I always make a point to take them here. One of Mankatos best.

Ive always received extremely fast service from this restaurant. If they have ever messed up my food order they have always been extremely prompt on fixing it. Staff is always polite and professional. Easily one of the best restaurants in the Mankato area.

Good service, authentic food, fair prices. Mankato certainly didnt need another Mexican restaurant, but there are others Id close a lot sooner than La Terraza. Its quickly become the go-to place for us when were otherwise undecided on where to eat.

Wow. Poorest service Ive seen in a long time. 2 parties walked out because several people walked by and didnt acknowledge them for 10 minutes . . . Or us. When we finally were acknowledged it was with the phrase "how many". Wont be coming back.

Best. Mexican restaurant in town! if you are in Mankato MN you should go to this place the Parrillada is really good. it is not the typical Mexican Restaurant it is way better than it looks. It was a really good Experience.
