Phenomenal service and excellent food. Absolutely the best deli i have come across. The owner is passionate about his business, & his customers. He came by my table 4 times to make sure i had everything i needed, to get a drink for me, he grabbed my trash for me twice & double checked to see how i liked my sandwich. He did the same for everyone else in the deli. One of the line cooks even asked if i needed anything and how i liked the food on his way to drop off food to another table. The food is outstanding. I tried the NY Club, but will definitely be back to try more! Very large portions, reasonably priced. I will most definitely be bringing my business back here many times in the future. Also, decorated nicely and very well put together. Not just your typical deli restaurant. This is the first review i have ever written about a food place, it seemed necessary because of how great i was treated here.

Bad attitudes. Bad service. What more can a customer ask for? They get cocky when they make a mistake on your sandwich. They fight the customer for making a complaint on their mistake. When you order a sandwich with certain add ons, they mess it up. Its like when you ask for a sandwich made in a certain way, they block out everything you ordered and make the sandwich the way they want. This is not the first time, it has happened numerous times before. Also, they have unorganized closing schedules. Im saying all this because I am fed up, I didnt want to write a bad review, everyone makes mistakes , but theyve made more mistakes than theyre supposed to. I hope they read these customer reviews to motivate themselves to have better service.

Clean, decently priced, and seems to be high quality. Its been a while since Ive been able to recommend a deli place other than Alcamos and this place is outstanding for a hot deli sandwich (unlike Alcamos which is all cold). Prices are better than Matis, though I havent sampled enough of NYs menu yet to tell you if the taste is overall superior, but I was definitely impressed with their take on a turkey BLT. My only complaint is when actually eating there during lunch time I came out smelling like I was in a coney island kitchen, so they could improve the ventilation a bit. They are halal too and they have fresh juices so this is a nice place for a weekend breakfast as well!

they are extremely rude, over the phone when you want to place an order they are very rude and also when they deliver your food the person delivering your food is worse… They dont know how to keep track of invoices so they just imply that you hadnt paid yet when they cant tell wether u paid over the phone or not and they give you an attitude over everything, their customer service is overall awful they do not know how to speak to their customers... Will never go to this place again, Ive had better anyways. NY deli on michigan ave, u guys are horrible.

I have taken to go and also ate at the deli multiple times. I cant find anything on the menu that isnt absolutely delicious. Most restaurants have sides that you can tell they dont pay enough attention to, but not this place, the attention to detail is top notch with every dish. The Liberty is my favorite sandwich and the potato salad is killer!!!!!! The prices are very reasonable for the quantity, quality and taste of the food. The employees are very polite and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

This is an absolutely delicious place for halal deli meat sandwiches. Tried the Manhattan and the NY Club. Definitely would recommend the Manhattan. The hot pastrami was delicious. The coleslaw had cranberries in it which gave the sandwich a nice touch of sweetness. The Russian dressing present in many of the sandwiches compliments the deli meats quite nicely. We also tried the chili cheese dog which was excellent and only 2 bucks. Would definitely come here again to try more of what they have to offer.

My son and I were in town for a coin show. We stopped for lunch and boy did we find a gem! The food was amazing and the service was second to none! We will certainly be back when we are back in Dearborn, thank you New York deli! Every single worker welcomed us and was so polite and friendly!

Ventilation inside isnt great so eating in isnt the greatest idea but the food is DAMN good. I gave 5 stars for the food and didnt want to ding them for the ventilation... I only order carry out when I am around the area (and when I am around the area...I always get food from this place)

I asked the worker how much their chicken subs cost(out of curiosity), and they replied with a HUGE attitude. They employ kids who dont take their job seriously and do not claim responsibility for their mistakes. Horrible experience. Highly recommend Tuhamas for all your sandwich needs

The service and sandwich were good. It was $7.99 for the sandwich only, it doesnt come with chips/ potatoes or any sides much less a drink. It is expensive given the fact that other places at least it comes with one side. I wont come again to this place

Food and service is normally good but I recently purchased food and it looked like it was just thrown together and rushed there was big pieces of peppers, onions and jolopenos with nothing to hold it together also my toast was hard I couldnt eat it

The service is awful. Ive witnessed a worker quit in front of customers and it was rude. They often mess up on orders but I dont blame the workers. I blame Richie because that geezer is always yelling

Solid corned beef deli sandwiches. Had the Dinty Moore and then the Manhattan the next day. Liked them both a lot. They could use more variety as most of the sandwiches are corned beef based.
