We have been going there for about two years and have always enjoyed it, Although the menu doesnt change much we always have good food. But I have noticed a change in the atmosphere and last night I felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than a value customers. I know everyone has there days but this has been happening slowly over time. My husband and I travel and eat out often and as we both come from cooking back grounds,with family that have cooked with some great world renown chefs. We believe it is important when eating out we receive what we are paying for, we are never rude and will send back something we dont feel was prepared properly. this has only happened twice in all the times we have gone to the Rhythm Cafe. Regardless, how you are treated still plays a huge part in the whole experience and we were not happy. Needless to say we will not be going back. I hope that they will take something from this letter and try and change their attitudes towards customers that may have some feed back about the preparation of the meal. To walk away from an experience dining that you feel you are an inconvenience is not the best way to end the night!

WOW, I MOVED TO MERRIMAC IN JAN OF THIS YEAR AND HAVE HEARD A FEW COMMENTS ABOUT HOW GREAT THE PLACE IS, YET HAD NOT MADE IT IN SHALL I SAY BECAUSE OF THE OUTSIDE DECOR!!!! I WORK VERY LONG DAYS IN BOSTON, SINCE I WAS TAKING THE NEXT DAY OFF, I DECIDED TO STOP IN FOR DINNER ON MY WAY HOME! WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY, THE FOOD, THE PEOPLE, THE MUSIC (THE TALENTED YOUNG KIDS PLAYING JAZZ), THEY HAVE A BAR WITH A LIQUOR LICENSE! TOP ALL THAT OFF WITH A THREE LAYER SLICE OF HOMEMADE CAKE! The food is excellent, the problem is they count out everything! 8 carrots 10 asparagus its ridiculous for the price. In a better economy they could get away with it but they truly need to be cautious in this economy. The service is lacking in both takeout and dine in. Again the food is tasty (what you get of it), but combine poor service with scanty portions" carrots & rice are cheap, pile them on" and even the most loyal customer will go elsewhere.

Oh come on now, this is my spot! I eat there alot, maybe too much haha. The quality is great the taste is great and the service is great! ( Those girls are very busy) Not only does all that justify the rating but they have a take out drive through! Yes some say the prices are steep but I think it is so worth it ands really not much more then any other great place!

The prices and food are good for what they are listed as. The atmosphere could be a little better, but for the most part, it makes for a calm, enjoyable dinner or lunch spot for close friends and family. I would definitely recommend this to people as a must eat place for those who come through this town or even for its local residents.

Excellent food. Everything is fresh and the meals are varied, well-designed, and delicious. The menu is changed up and the Specials are truly special. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The exterior of the building belies the pleasant decor and the bar is well-stocked for a small restaurant.

My favorite place to eat! Food is delicious and different, very creative. Location was origionally a bank. Atmosphere comes from changing art exhibits of local artists and frequent live music by local talent. Three sisters and a very pleasant staff make this one of my favorite dining experiences.

My grandmother and I went to have a little lunch- not expecting much but just something to hit the spot. We had the Rosemary ham sandwich. I was appalled how wonderful it tasted. By far, the sandwich is the best food that I have ever eaten. Slightly pricey but definitely worth trying!

This place has phenomenal tasting quality food that is simply delicious with fresh ingredients Comfortable atmosphere and fare prices; nothing on the menu will disapoint you. All homemade deserts that are to die for. An absolute must try!

Own by 2 sisters. One is nice and the other is extremely rude!! Service sicks and the food is ok.. not worth putting up with nasty service. Also, over priced. Go elsewhere.

By far the best unique cuisine on the North Shore. All freshly made, specials are great and they have take-out! And dont forget to check out their fabulous desserts!
