The bread is quite good, but is unfortunately only available with a monthly commitment to purchase their average-quality savories/sweets. The service is hit or miss as well, often taking longer than youd expect for simple orders. As someone with Celiac, I would adore having a great GF bakery in town, but my experience at Violette has been mixed at best.

Fantastic gluten free bakery! Billionaire bars, brownies, cookies, bread pudding squares, and superb bagels and tea breads. Ive been gluten free for 10 years, this place keeps drawing me back in. The bagels are a real treat, they are definitely not "bread circles". A lot of complex flavors and textures and the buttercream frosting is real.

We dont live anywhere close. Included it on itenary one Saturday. Arrived an hour or so before closing. Off beaten path. Had many options for prepared entrees, desserts, breads, but not as many as wed expected. From where we live ultimately not a place well return to...gluten free options available more and more in area markets.

Turns out you can only buy certain items (bread) if youre a member, which means spending $75/month on other items. Went in for bread today for a friends party, which is advertised on the website, only to be told I cant buy it unless I wanted to spend a huge amount of money every month on sweets. No thanks.
