I find what Courtney had to say very hard to believe, if it is true that is unfortunate because I have never had an experience like that. I have always had very tasty food and very good service. The reason this place did not get the 5th star was because it is to small and is always packed. Pending on where you are seated, people are always bumping into you trying to walk around and the people are the bar sometimes block the whole walkway. The parking lot is sometimes challenging. I would suggest this place but try to make reservations and dont go at peak times.

the garden city pub is the worst place to eat, id rather bring my family to the local dumpster to pick out of the trash. the food was that gross. my sons whole meal tasted like soap, my steak was raw and my wifes salad had a hair in it. we asked to speak to the manager who is a complete moron and said he couldnt do anything about it. the owner happened to be there and came out but ignored me when i tried to speak to him, he said "i make the money, not deal with the costumers" that arrogance will never get a cent of my money again.

Ive been here a few times for dinner, and like Eric says - the place is usually packed and quite busy...but for good reason. The food is well done, drinks are good, and its a pub - so expect a pub, but of a higher scale.
