Met friends for dinner 9/24/14 - Noticed when seated that there were two very long tables down the middle of the dining room. We were advised an ART class would be taking place later that evening. We ordered drinks and a few minutes later dinner. Drinks and food were good, not memorable. We had hoped that we had selected a dining venue that would allow us to relax, enjoy a meal and good conversation together. WOW...about 45 minutes after arriving the ART students began showing up ... It was LOUD and people kept bumping into my friend who happened to be seated with her back to the first long table. They then started playing some very loud music and the students all got up to receive a paper plate and go through a line to obtain their paints...once again trying to squeeze between my friends chair and their table to get back to their seats. We paid our bill, mentioned to management on the way out how disappointed and unacceptable our experience had been and went to dunkin donuts to have a cup of coffee and be able to continue our conversation in peace. we WILL NOT be returning .. they obviously were more interested in cramming in this art class into the dining room than worry about the comfort of their patrons.

The food was too greasy and came out too late. We ordered three appetizers in the dining room which is the same price as two entrees (nachos, charcuterie board, and bangers) and the waitress made us feel so unwelcome because we ordered just apps. She said to us that we need to go to the bar next time. Absolutely awful and not welcoming at all. The bar had live music and we wanted to talk to another without screaming, is that so hard to ask for? Also adding insult to injury the waitress rung our card up on the wrong table and charged my fiancees card strangely. We will never come back here if their staff has a lack of basic customer service. This place was an absolute facepalm.

Went at 7:30 on a Wednesday night. Lots of people at bar, but dining area was dead. No hostess in sight when we walked in; after several minutes a patron at the bar noticed us and called to a waitress out of our line of sight to seat us. Once seated, another waited too our sink and appetizer orders. We never saw her again for 10 or 15 minutes. Eventually left cash on the table to cover app and drinks and walked out.

My only complaint is that they dont serve pork pies; otherwise, it is a great place to enjoy some British fare (bangers and mash, shepards pie, steak and ale pie) as well as some more American favorites like burgers and pizza. I have been less adventurous in trying out the beers; I usually select a cider on tap. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent; overall, the atmosphere is good.

Not very authentic, in my opinion. The bangers are not Cumberland sausage, as one would like. The bubble and squeak is like a big mashed potato pancake, instead of like what i have had in England. They serve the ale cold, instead of room temperature. The only beer they could serve warm was Fishermans IPA, which is an excellent local beer, but THAT one should be served cold.

Good beer selection and the service was excellent, but the food wasnt so good. The nachos were a huge plate of chips and not much more, the BBC burger was very greasy and my wifes Bison burger should have been called the cumin burger, because thats all you could taste. I might go back and have a few beers at the bar with friends, but Ill eat before I go.

The food here was pretty good and I have no complaints towards that. However the thing I am more uneasy about is the straws. At this restaurant the straw quality was very poor. The straws were very flimsy and broke easily when I tried to open the paper around it. It is for this reason that I will not be eating, or drinking at this restaurant again.

BBC is excellent! We sat at the bar and the bartender immediately took our drink order and brought over menus. The bartender was very attentive and we never had an empty glass! The food was surprisingly delicious! The bangers and mash were AMAZING, mac n cheese and shephards pie were also excellent. Can not wait to go back!!

Large beer list including British favorites, full bar for mixed drinks with weekly specials. Large menu with a British section, the pizza is awesome and the food in general is great. Large bar surrounded with TVs live bands play most nights, dining room isnt the quietest atmosphere so come for the food and drinks!

Living on the east coast, we always heard about In-N-Out burgers and read that Consumer Reports rates it as the top burger. They were right. It is flavorful, juicy and everything a burger should be. The only down side was it was so crowded and we had to wait for our order and then eat it in the car. But...

Only had pizza but the others at our table had meals and they were all good. Cool place. Service overall in the restaurant was good except our waitress was slow & more interested in talking to another table. But I would recommend and return again.

Fun place for a night out. The noise level is louder than normal, so it probably wouldnt be a great date night restaurant. Great for a night out with a group of friends. The food is mostly comfort food and definitely isnt free of guilt lol.

Service was good, great bar. Outdoor seating. However, the food was terrible. Calamari that tasted like sweet warm deep fried rubber bands. Had steak tip salad. Salad greens were fresh. The steak tips were like shoe leather. Terrible.

We have the same waitress every time we go there. Adrienne is the BEST! Food is always great and drinks are superb! Its now out go to place and have taken many family and friends there who always return as well. Love this place

Always amazing service. Feels like a local pub. Food has always been spot on. Fish N Chips, Meat Pies, & Bangers and Mash are all personal favs. Bubble and Squeak could use some more stuff in the potatoes but still pretty good.

As a New Yorker, even with a Yankees hat, we got great service. Nancy was our waitress and she made the night great! Trivia night was also fun but we got robbed, either way Id recommend this place to anyone. And request Nancy!!

The menu was completely downgraded along with the service. The dishes we received were dirty and still wet. The food was also disgusting and came out cold... Im no longer going to eat here and hopefully you all take my advice.

Service needs to improve. Tables and bar need to be wiped down and disinfected before anyone else sits. Food is great, but high priced. Need to bring back old menu and prices. Its a Pub, not a fancy restaurant.

Great service and food was good, but I ordered a caeser salad and for a large salad the portion was very small just in a giant bowl with a big time and a thin layer of salad. Everyone else licked there food.

Very good menu, with an apparently large alcohol selection. They have meat pies and pastries to die for and great mashed potatoes, what more could be asked of it? Great place for good British comfort food.
