Hannaford is a nice, clean mid-sized grocery store that offers fresh, locally grown and produced food, when possible. They offer the average variety of different food categories and within their limited space, they do go the extra mile to provide "trending" popular food items such as organic, gluten-free, nitrate-free lunch meats and hot dogs, as well as a variety of alternative products such as almond milk, coconut milk, organic-artisan sausages and breads and yogurts. A wide variety of nice desserts are also available. The staff is generally well mannered and helpful. The one thing that I really like if Hannafords money back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with a product for any reason, they will refund you with double your money back to boot! Stop in and check it out!

Great store, I shop here regularly. Produce is excellent, every department excels. Weekly sales are a joy with already low prices. Everything you need. Exceptionally congenial employees, very helpful! Great selection of healthier options and their generic brand is often times healthier than name brand.

Ordered 15 lbs of Boston butt last Saturday for a pulled pork slider party. The butcher (youngest butcher there, and absolutely adorable) trimmed and tied both roasts perfectly. Great party, thanks to this young man and hannaford/Ellsworth. Butcher dept rocks.

Hit or miss on the fresh fruit and veg but generally a good variety of groceries and a very healthy selection of beer and spirits. Fair bit of parking out front.
