When you first walk in, youre welcomed by the charming face of the hostess who was extremely sweet and fit right in with the small steakhouse. All of the waitresses there were so pleasant and constantly smiling. Everyone working there seemed to work like a team and acted like family. Very homey, nice environment. Also, aside for the exceptional customer service, the cook Leon made the best steak I have ever eaten in my life!! Truly a gem. If I lived in this small town I would eat there everyday. Reasonably priced for an exceptional meal.

Service was great, and cool atmosphere. We ordered the dinner for 2 16oz ribbeyes. The steak had absolutely 0 flavor and I dont think was seasoned, and the cowboy fries had no seasoning and where very bland. Very upset I paid as much as I did for horrible food. 2 star simply because the service was great. The only reason I came here was because of the 4.5 star with as many review as there where, but I dont know if they went to a different restraunt, or if the restraunt had a bad day.

My husband and I have been customers of the Horseshoe since 1973. The hamburgers have been and continue to be the best in town, and perhaps the best weve ever had! We have to restrict ourselves on how many times we visit or we would have a booth reserved in our name. Yes, it is small and generally crowded , and the wait can be a bit long, but the atmosphere is friendly, and the food has never disappointed us over the past 40 years!

Food and service are both good. Anything you order will taste good. The servers are always friendly. If you dont like the smell of smoke dont go though. The inside is a little crowded, Id like to see them expand. The food, while delicious, is slightly over priced, if the building was roomier and not so smokey that would be worth over-looking and prompt more frequent visits.

This is really a good local restaurant. If you like big steaks, there isnt anything better in a 50 mile radius. I eat here every year during hunting season and they never disappoint. The place is always packed, and better than any chain anywhere near. Expect to pay a little more that Crapplebees but the quality and quantity is there.

Very disappointing. It was our first visit and probably our last. The initial wait was to be expected. The wait after we were seated was not. My lemon for my water was forgotten. As was our appetizer order. Then, our medium steaks were well done. Bread came out after our meals. Just an apology was offered and nothing more.

Didnt have a long wait. However the service was mediocre at best. The waiter asked if things good & we said "meh okay" & he didnt bother to find out the problem. The food was either burnt or undercooked. It had been many years since Ive been there and many many years in the next visit. Was very disappointed.

Theres a reason this place has been open for so long. Its a small, cozy place with friendly staff. The food is great, I had patty melt and it was the best I had ever had. The huge 10oz burger wad perfectly seasoned and cooked. If I was a local this would probably be my favorite place to eat out.

Delicious, truly grilled steak cuts, seasoned and some marinated. Staff is pleasant and responsive. Loud atmosphere from the music, conversation, and close dining. Casual dining experience where the food is worth paying and waiting for but dont expect intimate conversation.

Beer was cold and the special was a 10 oz. ribeye that was perfectly done and included a potato and salad for $13. I couldnt eat it all. The place is small and a little dark, but the food and drink is one of our favorites after a round of golf.

Best Steak you can get, hash browns too! Also glad there isnt some ridiculously huge menu where most things are mediocre, I love that everything on menu is the best that you could get at home or out.!!! HORSESHOE BAR & GRILL ROCKS
