I called to place an order for delivery. The woman was nice and placed my order with ease, allowing me to pay over the phone with my debit card. The food arrived quickly. All of this was great. Sadly, the food was worse than I anticipated. It tasted bland and the beef had a weird texture and taste to it... which is why I have it in as something seemed off. Also, the fried wontons was literally just fried wonton wrappers. Ive ordered fried wontons from 20+ places and this is the first where it had no filling and no red sauce included. We wont be ordering from them again and felt this was a waste of money as I cant stomach their food.

This restaurant has horrible food! the chicken in the chicken fried rice was all dark, Im not even sure if it was chicken, the bbq pork didnt even have the BBQ sauce on it like most places do and it was as hard as a rock. the pepper steak tasted like it was all reheated. this was disgusting, the only few people that made any good reviews must be family to the owners. do your self a favor if you have a craving for Chinese food and are looking at this restaurant online right now, Google Wal-Mart near me, go to the frozen section, and pick up your favorite Chinese entree. you will be much happier with that decision.

In my experience i think that this place is by far the worst Chinese food Ive had. Unfortunately this is the only Chinese restaurant in Woodstock that Ive found. The inside is like it was decorated by a drunk golden girl. The egg rools were really hot and dripping with oil. The orange chicken made me sick and I threw away 2/3 of it. I had the shrimp fried rice and at first it was good. I then noticed th at almost every shrimp had a black line running from head to tail. Thats their intestine filled with poop. After seeing that I made myself vomit. I will never eat there and encourage you to STAY AWAY!!!

For local Chinese food, this is the best in town. Ive never eaten in the restaurant, so I cant comment on the atmosphere, but being a local, they know my name, and are always courteous when I call and come in to pay. Knowing what to order helps too. Not everything great. I always order one of the following: my favorite the Dry Pan Fried Rice noodles with Beef (very garlicy be forewarned, but delicious), the similarly named regular stir fried noodles with beef. Sesame chicken or beef. The sweet & sour chicken is decent. Egg roll not too great.

We ordered food lastnight from here and it was terrible! Being new in the area, we thought we would try it. There was one otherbad comment on the place but I thought it may just obviously be a matter of opinion, NOT! Now its a general concensus, this place is HORRIBLE! Our meal came to 31.65 and we literally ordered two entrees. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting for DAYS under the heat lamp. We will NEVER eat here again and hope noone else does either!

Definitely the best Chinese cuisine in the Woodstock area. Buffet is good considering the price. The menu is large offering up many options. I have been going to this restaurant for several years now and highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Some gems found in their menu are the crab rangoon, potstickers, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, beef or chicken lo mein, and crispy shrimp. Dont let some of these review make you hesitate, try it out for yourself.

Hello, I just wanted to thank everyone for reviewing. I was looking to go to a Chinese/Asian restaurant and wanted to look up where it was. I found the Google reviews and became disgusted by them. I hope the Green Garden realizes how many customers they are loosing because of all the bad reviews. I had never even thought of reusing rice, that is disgusting. Thank you all for posting truthful reviews and avoiding me some serious pain.

The service was very poor. They were rude to us, and tried to force us to eat from the buffet. Once they gave up on the buffet part, they decided to only bring us one menu. Grrrrrrr. The soda was disgusting and flat, and we didnt even order the same ones. Both of our plates were short on ingredients. The only positive thing I have to say is that our food came quickly.

The food was OK at best. We went for the lunch buffet and the selection was abysmal. The decor made me think of what I was going to need to drink later for the heartburn: pepto-bismol. The staff was rude and was trying to rush is out from the moment we got there. They dropped the check off moments after we sat down.

Had their lunch buffet and enjoyed it. Staff was short with us, but not entirely unpleasant. Food was above average and the tea was decent but at the price point for the buffet it cant be beat. Id recommend giving the place a shot, for $7.50 you dont have much to lose.

HATES KIDS!! First and last time I will be going. My mother took me and my 1 yr. Old out for dinner. Gave the dirtiest looks for some rice being left on the floor. Oh and they have no changing tables in the b.r., so a mom had to do what a mom had to do.

Woodstock natives will either love this restaurant or Chop Suey Hut. If you like one, you tend to not like the other. This is my favorite of the two. I go here when I need my Chinese fix.

For a simple, local Chinese restaurant, they do a good job and have a decent sized dine-in menu. Food is of above average quality. Weve been going there for about 20 years.
