I am originally from Gainesville(where the original Bentos are) and was so excited when I heard they opened in orlando. I have been there about 7 times so far and each time Ive gone I have had a bad experience: 1. They ALWAYS get my order WRONG. I mean, how hard can it be to add cream cheese? And the last time I went and told the chef he didnt put cc on there, he said the waitress forgot to put it on the ticket and gave me pieces on the side...it was sooooo tacky. I pay extra to have these extra things put on my roll only to have to put them on myself. If that were the case, then I would have made the sushi at home. 2. The service is soo incredibly terrible. They act as if it isnt a resteraunt and they are talking to their friends. Another time that my boyfriend and I went, the waitress sat us down and never came back, we had to get up about 5 times to ask for our drinks, then ask for our food and whatever else we needed. The service was so bad that even the manager had to give us a discount because of the way the she was behaving. 3. Each time I go they always have a new staff, which means that theyre always having people who dont know the ins and outs of how to properly run and work in an establishment that deals with food and a large influx of customers. I absolutely HATE this place because I know how a proper Bento should be. To be honest, I would not mind driving 2 hours to Gainesville to experience the REAL bento. OMG! Like I said, please try somewhere else. Personally, there are a lot of other places in Orlando that will give you proper service with delicious food to match. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS BENTO AGAIN! They are very HORRIBLE and I pray that they either find new management with proper staff or CLOSE DOWN and save the Bento franchise the embarrassment. DO NOT GO HERE EVER! TRUST ME!

When Bentos first opened sometime back my family and I loved it. I remember paying at most $7.75 for a bento box. It wasnt the best food; but, the price was reasonable enough to make it worth it. Service was always decent. I went earlier tonight with my three boys. One of my sons is only 14 months old. In the whole restaurant they only had one high chair. It was in use. They offered us a booth instead. They didnt have any cups with lids (for the toddler) nor did they have a kids menu. Their prices have also went up significantly while the quality has stayed the same. The Lo Mein is still completely marginal and usually served cold (tonight was no exception). I do like the green beans and the salad. But, $9 for green beans and a salad? Its my last time going to Bento. When I asked why they only had one high chair the waitress just looked and me and said "I dont know what to tell you". One of the other waiters asked another waitress to make something for our son to sit in -- she looked at him and said "what do you suggest I do?"

I went here Saturday night around 8 oclock to pick up a to-go order and it was busy but when I went in I paid for it right away and they told me my order still wasnt ready so I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to fix it and bring it to me because they put the wrong name with my phone number. The other reason why I gave it a three star is because Ive been here before to place a to-go order and pick it up and you have to find parking on the street in order to pick it up and there is no parking validation to park in the parking garage to pick it up. So I believe they will improve their customer service if they were to validate parking for pick up to go

Bento to me was the paver for fusion restaurants here in Orlando. I am aware of 50 and Mills and their amazing fusion spots, but Bento was one of the first places I went to enjoy some orange chicken and some sushi. It gets packed and parking is not bad, but it is downtown. The waiting area is very small, so at times we have to wait outside, but the staff is clearly moving as fast as they can. Great food, but not cheap if you plan to go all-out. They have opened up another one by UCF and it is definitely not the same. The downtown location is the location we prefer.

I love this new found treasure In Orlando. I ran into it while I was waiting for movie to start but didnt go in that day, I came back. Do tiu know what BENTO means? Well its delicious and fresh Sushi. I recommend going online right now and looking at there menu and getting down there to eat, its delicious and fresh foods. The decor is different and the seats are comfortable for the size. Staff, well, there staff and you never know what you will get, but Ive mostly had good experiences there. Ive eaten there 5xs already.

Every time I go to this place theres always something thats wrong. Only reason I come here is because my brother likes it. Ive gotten, cold food, incorrect orders, long long unexplained waiting times, among other things. The latest snafu was a half off classic rolls deal. The promotion on the table didnt say half off a classic roll (singular), it said half off classic rolls and nowhere did it say limit one. I ended up with one half priced roll and two full priced rolls. I hope my brother doesnt bring me here again.

Bento Cafe is hands down the best local Bento Cafe shop in town. High quality, fresh food and exceptionally delicious coffee. My favorite breakfast order is their Lox sandwBento Cafe with ! Besides all the great food and coffee options they have made-to-order juices and other great beverage options. Best part about Bento Cafe though is the wonderfully friendly, kind people who work there. A must visit the next time youre in the neighborhood! The staff is friendly. So it is nice area.

I walked by this restaurant dozens of times, smelling the delicious aromas wafting outside, before I went in for lunch. Once I did, I was incredibly impressed with the reasonable prices and plentiful, delicious food! Ordered the pad thai on my first visit...yum. Also decided to splurge and get a small bottle of sake, which was also awesome. Now that I work downtown, I will definitely be going back here often. Highly recommend that you do the same if you are in the area.

This is place has really clean tables and a decent staff. I ordered pad Thai, for some Reason it came naturally spicy, thats an unusual site in all of my dinning. The pad Thai didnt taste or look like pad Thai. I reserved judgement so, tasted it and had to send it back. I got sushi instead. However I did try the sweet and sour chicken and it was good. Also, the water was probably the worst tasting water Ive had. #nopadthai

Im always getting credit for my to go orders because things are always missing, or they forget to pack it. Today while dining in, John, the host/cashier was very rude and unfriendly. We asked questions, and the responses were short and unhelpful. The food is always amazing, that makes up for it. Usually not a long wait time for food to arrive, maybe 15 mins, definitely a great location for lunch rush in busy downtown!
