My wife and I had our first dinner at Sinatras last night and found it to be fantastic! We moved to Deland about a year ago, but we typically drive to Winter Park when we want a great Italian meal. After finding Sinatras, we will definitely stay in Deland! This place has great atmosphere, very good service and the food is absolutely perfect! I had the Capellini & Salmon Meatballs and it was even better than I had hoped! The "meatballs" were wonderful, with a mild, but fascinating flavor, and the sauce was not overly heavy. My wife had the Chianti Braised Short Ribs, which she thought was prepared to perfection as well. The Prosciutto-Parmesan Polenta cake that accompanied the short ribs was absolutely the best polenta cake that either of us has ever had. They had a fairly good wine selection, and as I usually prefer beer, I was happy to find that they had a good selection of four very good beers on tap. The atmosphere is very inviting. While I dont know the history of the building, it looks as if has been around for 50-75 years. The dining room has been completely remodeled, but the original exposed brick walls were kept, so it has a nice combination of character, while still feeling contemporary. The service was great from the start. We werent hurried, even though we had late reservations and were the last ones to leave. The pace was just right, and while we werent constantly interrupted, if we needed something, the waiter was always close by. We will definitely make Sinatras part of our dining routine.

Tasted awful the only decent part of my meal was paying the bill so I could leave, and I didnt even want to pay for it. I felt sick for the rest of the night after eating here. I didnt know what door to enter, there are a bunch of doors and all of them were locked except one, which was poorly placed. I never found out where the door was by the way. I felt trapped, what if there was a fire? People could have died. Our waitress had beady eyes and did this weird peek around the corner thing everytime she came to check on us, I dont know who taught her that but thats just unsettling. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from this restaurant.

My wife and I wanted a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. We were quite pleased with our experience at Artisan Grill. We arrived at 4:30 to beat any crowds were immediately sat at a quiet booth overlooking downtown DeLand. There was nice calm music and the staff was very friendly. Our server offered us Happy Hour while we browsed the menu which we gladly accepted. The menu had a well selections to choose whether you enjoyed, beef, chicken, fish, or pasta. Overall excellent experience dining in for the evening. Nice job Artisan! Would have been neat to have a card at the table telling the history of the building! Go check it out.

I was expecting something better. Pictures show white table clothe, glasses for water, and real clothe napkins. They had plastic cups, no table clothes, and desposable napkins! My salad, appatizer, and meal were all brought out at the same exact time. Everything was deep fried, fries were undercooked, my parm crusted chicken with fresh basil had no basil and no parm crust. Also dont order french toast unless you want it deep fried. Dont be fooled by appearance, this place stunk!

Terrific food and a real piano-bar! The big Baldwin piano with people sitting around it and requesting songs is too cool. Several people sang a song or were invited up to play a tune. Only in New York do you usually come across places like this. WOW!

Eating as I type this...ordered the osso buco with mashed potatoes and market veggies. Food is amazing. First time Ive ever had this dish anywhere and its excellent! Wife ordered the mahi Mahi with veggies... but my osso is better than her Mahi

The food was truly awesome and the service was on point. New owners or new management, this is one of our favorite restaurants in DeLand!!! The menu has absolutely something for everyones taste. Breakfast is even served until 3:00 daily!!!

The atmosphere was fine, the Patty Melt was horrible. I expect a PM to be grilled with sautéed onions, crispy gooey and delicious. This was 2 slices of rye bread toast with patty and slice of cheese period ugh --
