I ordered some wings and the general tso chicken special combo on 7/31 The tso chicken gave me sour stomach after a few bites... I stopped... literally made me have instant runns... I ate alittle more b/c I was hungry then threw it out the window into the back yard... and it kept me with the runns for a week. I called the restaurant... the owner gets on the phone and tells me... with my friend on 3way, "maybe you stuff yoself with to much food". "We sell 100 orders of tso chicken, why you only one call get sick." He really actually said, "I think you the problem with you stomach, you eat to much food!" I told him... "I will never buy anything from you again... I spend $40 -$50 week in take out... looking for some good food... I am a Chef by trade Le Cordon Bleu, chef... I need to just cook... Rude and if you ask me that was racist. I ordered lunch express delivery & fried wonton... nice portion of general tso and boneless ribs. Rice was excellent! Great flavors & fast service. This was the best chinese food Ive had in a very long time. Seeing how I moved to CT from Puerto Rico and well, lets just say they do it differently in Puerto Rico. Ive tried several restaurants in this area and now I am happy to have a place that I can trust will provide me with quality Chinese food. 5 Stars and a big, Thank You! A big F

After 16 yrs of ordering from this place. They sent me the wrong food and I waited over an hr for my order. I called and asked them why its taking so long they told me that the driver was beeping his horn outside. Phone person said it was not there problem anymore because we didnt hear or come outside . I told him how long Ive been ordering from them after arguing how I was at fault for not hearing there horn. I told him the driver should of came to the door like every delivery guy does.I asked him to speak to the owner he said he was the owner laughing at the same time. People do not order from these people anymore even if there food is good obviously they did not to come to the door like they were supposed to because it was already paid for. They only care about their money and not giving a damn about good service to us customers. Ive never been so disrespected like this and I am not to complain about much. But when I have a kid that was hungry and looking forward to have his favorite Chinese food and the dam owner tells me that I got beat for not coming outside to get his food I have a big problem with that!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM NEW MOON ! SHAME ON THE OWNER FOR BRINGING HIS MENTALITY FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY! !

I just moved to Waterbury, my fiance and I both have hectic schedules, so we order out alot. For the first 6 months, we would try different places to see who had the best food and service. New Moon II beat every other place we ordered from so bad that we stopped trying newer places. They deliver in decent time, food is always fresh and GOOD, the food has flavor and guess what, tastes good the next day when you nuke it. Pros - Food is friggin awesome Delivery time is good Portions are big Cons - Bit pricey ( but not the worst by far ) Lousy English ( so unless you know Chinese, try to keep it simple ) Order today, trust me you wont regret it.

The only better fried rice is Golden Palace in Watertown. Best quality food too... Some of the other places make me wonder what the meat really is. They must have lost some business when they were forced out of their old spot and had to move to Middlebury but I thought it was worth the drive. Its nice to see them back a stones throw from their old location.

Im not one to complain but I had to let everyone else know. The delivery took an hour, which would have been fine if the food had any taste. I ordered the general tso and there was no flavor. Also it tasted like my fried donuts were rolled in salt instead of sugar. I will never order here again, completely disappointed.

COCKROACH IN MY FOOD The other night on 1/7/14 I order chicken lo mein and 2 bites into it I look down and I see a COCKROACH in there. I puked my guts out and called the health department. The guy tells me they are repeat offenders and fail their health inspections all the time. DO NOT EAT HERE COCKROACHES

Ordered the chicken teriyaki and received meat that as unnoticeable (posted a picture under images) I politely asked for a refund and offered to bring the food back, the manager refused and was extremely rude over the phone. I will be contacting the health department to investigate this restaurant.

The food was good and didnt take too long to be delivered. However i had to walk out to the car to get my food. Needless to say i did not tip as i usually do. If I am out and about i may order from this restautant. But never again from home.

The brown gravy they use is way too rich and not very tastey, it is very dark like molasses.. The Chinese place I use in Torrington has very nice smooth light brown gravy that tastes real...unlike this one. That is my only complaint...

Food wasnt really hot, and they didnt give me sweet and sour sauce for sweet and sour pork. WTF? You have to ask for it? Egg roll had almost no meat at all. The only reason I gave 2 stars is no msg and wonton soup was good
