Ski mountain food often leaves me feeling lethargic, so I often stick to light snacks on the chairlift during the ski day, pushing my meal back till after the lifts close at 4pm. Breckenridge Brewery is a perfectly casual and relaxed vibe for throwing back a few tasty brews and some burgers/sandwiches after a day on the slopes. Theyve got a rockin happy hour from 3-6pm with $3 pints. Even better, we managed to chow there during Breckenridges "Craft Beer Week" so we were treated to some extra tasty beer choices. If youre overwhelmed by the choices, their classic oatmeal stout is a solid pick. Oh and by the way - roasted habenero IPA = MONEY! For entrees, my buddy ordered the house burger and I opted for the goat cheese-topped pork chops. My friend enjoyed his burger, and moving to my pork chops, the goat cheese broke down and formed a delicious sour cream-ish sauce over the juicy portion. Our server Lee was awesome and very attentive despite his packed section full of hungry patrons. Overall, this place is good in that its probably a safe bet for your crew, no matter what peoples dietary preferences are, and despite its ski town location, prices and service remain down to earth too.

I came here nearly 9 months pregnant and let me tell you, it was incredible! My husband got two beers that he loved and I stuck with water for obvious reasons. The staff was really nice and even playful about me being pregnant. We had the soy garlic edamame to start. I will be dreaming of that spicy, garlicky dish for the rest of my life!!! It was delicious! My husband ordered the special (dry aged tomahawk pork chop with tamale jalapeño hush puppies and veggies) which he enjoy and I ordered the trout. The trout was crusted in cashews (if I remember correctly) and a delicious sauce over coconut lavender rice and veggies. The fish was cooked PERFECTLY and was mouthwatering and the rice was simply to die for! It had a shuttle flavor that wasnt overpowering but goodness was it amazing. The food, the beer, and the staff are great here! Definitely a must if youre in Breck for any given amount of time!

Ive visited the Brewery a couple times with family and it was packed both times. It can be hard to find parking (there are only a handful of spots in fronton the restaurant). And then youll probably have a wait - we were lucky and only waited thirty minutes on our most recent visit, which is amazing for a Friday night. Ive gotten their 50/50 bacon-beef burger both times - it was definitely better with queso and bacon and not at great with the brie and apples. My husband got their special on our recent visit - fish for lent. Im not a fish fan in the least, but he convinced me to try a bite and it really was awesome! Uncle J got the meatloaf which was HUGE. He said it was also quite delicious! Papa K got the BBQ ribs and loved them. You can get some good food here, just be prepared for a crowd, a long wait and noise.

We went off season on July 31. Service was fine; no complaints. It was really busy because there was some rain and it sure looked like everyone piled in right before us. My wife had ribs and enjoyed them. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich that was better than average; Id get it again, but would want to explore other menu options first. Their vanilla porter is unique and excellent; the other 7 beer samples were pretty much what you get in the bottle if you can buy it locally. They dont do my favorite stuff, but as I have posted elsewhere, I live in Boulder County so I am "beer spoiled" with Avery, Oskar Blues, Boulder Beer, and Mountain Sun.

When in town, this is a must stop location. The beer here is good, though there are only about a half dozen on tap. The IPA is delicious and tastes awesome after a long day on the slopes. The space is very appropriate apres ski with lots of wood, high ceilings, and constantly looping ski videos on TV. The food here is pretty good as well, though I preferred the appetizers to the main dishes. The wings were good, and the beer cheese fries were incredible. The elk meatloaf was just ok and could have used a little more seasoning though the gravy was good. Service was friendly and quick, perfect for a night when tired out from hitting the peaks.

The only thing good was the beer. We made a trip from Copper Mountain specifically for the Monday night dollar drafts. We checked the web site and called the brewery to make sure this special was still going on, both indicated a yes. Upon arriving at the brewery we saw a paper taped to the front door saying the are not doing the special anymore. Very disappointed we still went in for a beer. We sat in the back where waiters walked past us many times and never offered to get us a drink. After 15 minuets we walked to the bar to get our own and enjoyed them while our waiter watched tv next to us.

Service is absolutely terrible. We waited over 10 min before a server came by when he came by he took our drink order and then said he would be right back. I said we were ready to order and he told me there were 4 tables ahead of us and he couldnt take our order because he was too busy. So we got up and left. He then yelled after us as we were walking out the order "it wouldnt be too long." we just kept walking and proceeded to sarcastically say "OK have a great day" and snickered. I have lived in Breckenridge for 7 years and have never experienced such God awful service.

DO NOT GET THE RIBS. DO NOT EAT HERE. Me and my family came here during our vacation. I ordered the Caliente Burger, which the waitress said would be spicy, it was not. Three of our group ordered the ribs, they were so full of fat they were inedible. My boyfriend actually got nauseous from them. Another person ordered the elk meatloaf, and it came out a little burned but not terrible. The final person ordered fish and chips, and the fish wasnt terrible. Overall, we will not be eating here again, nor will we be recommending anyone here.

Had a 30 minute wait which wasnt bad for a Saturday afternoon. However, this BREWERY only had ONE bartender for the entire bar and restaurant. It took 15 minutes just to get a beer. The hostess wouldnt even make eye contact with us or even let us know she was seating us. She turned her back and headed to our table. The other gentleman had to tell us she was seating us and that we needed to follow her. Once seated it took 20 minutes to get our appetizer. The beer is also nothing to write home about. VERY over-rated brewery.

Love Breck Brewery. Definitely my favorite beer. Their new Breck IPA is to die for! Food is great to. I prefer the Elk Burger! Be warned, this place is extremely popular and during prime time you can easily wait over an hour. Once youre in though, youll get great service. Also note that Breckenridge parking can be crazy. I recommend trying to get a spot behind the brewery. If thats full you can park in the larger lot across main Street. Its a longer walk, but youre in the mountains! Enjoy the fresh air and the views!
