Came here after a long tiring day swimming at Sand Cove park beach. First time eating here and i gotta say Im pretty impressed! They have a little bar too!! Thought it would be like all those other Thai restaurant with a lot of thai decorations but here have more of a simple modern setting and feel which i like. Love the koi fish wall painting in the hall way and the beautiful chandelier. Now onto the food.... Order papaya salad, larb, red curry, pad thai, this other dish i forgot what its called and the manaao salad. Me and my husband agreed that some items were too over salted for our tasting, still taste good but wish they took it easy with the saltiness. By all means i am not discouraging anyone to eat there. Just a little too salty for me and my husbands taste. Manaao salad is bomb! Thai tea tasted good and refreshing, Unlike other restaurant where their thai tea is watered down and tasteless. Employees were great! Seemed like a pretty slow day today but the workers there were friendly and delivered great service. Sucks at the moment i had only $3 in cash with me, put it on the table as tip for our server. Next time will definitely give a bigger tip! Thanks for the lovely food! -MalyV.

My gf and I wanted spicy after going to Ikea nearby. We found this place and decided to try it and boy did we get spicy! I had the spicy bamboo dish and my gf had pad see eaw. We ordered Thai medium and it was way too hot! I loved mine but my gf had to send hers back and get another which the server was nice about(although we overheard her making fun of us in the back which I found funny). Great prices. Awesome service! She even let us keep the spicy dish to take home(which I loved later). I would give more stars if I could! Give this place a shot!

Well what can I say.... my co-workers and I came here 5-6 times during the 2 weeks we were in Sacremento because the food and service is that good. I travel for work and have had curry at probably 50 different Thai places across the US, but this place has been the best. Everything we had here has been excellent in both taste and presentation. My co-workers have said pretty much the same thing: Manaao Thai makes some of the best food weve ever had.

Solid Thai food with just the right touches. Was a fan of the larb and tried the steak dish as well, neither was as spicy as I was expecting and the spice selection used was almost towards the gritty side but I would still gladly come here again if in the area due to the overall good atmosphere and delicious food. Made for a good date night after your typical stressful Ikea shopping. Was minimally busy and service was very on point.

I love the food at this place! I have been to the restaurant several times and its been an excellent experience every time. The Yellow Curry is delicious, and the Pad Thai, the best Ive ever had! Good sized portions at a cheap price... The atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff is friendly. I work in downtown Sac and when Im in the mood for Thai food id rather drive to this restaurant then go to a closer one downtown.

Well worth the visit. I have had a variety of their dishes and all were good with some being exceptional. The Thai basil dishes are very good, as is the green curry. I agree with another reviewer - try it with the brown rice. The beef salad (try it hot) is a favorite for my family. The location and facility are nothing special, but their cooking staff are excellent and thats what I go to Thai restaurants for!

Ordered Spicy Basil Fried Rice , Thai Fried Rice, and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was the only thing that tasted good. It had tofu and it had flavor. I cant say that about anything else I ordered. The rice was not cooked and it was semi hard and dry. The Spicy basil and thai fried rice had no flavor. This was my first time eating here and I will never eat here again. Panda Express taste better than this.

No doubt I have NEVER been disappointed all of the many times I have come here! Everything that I have tried has been deliciously prepared and you can just taste the quality. When we have a taste for Thai, this place is the 1st choice and just a quick little jaunt to the west for my coworkers and I. My compliments to the chef, trust me if you check it out you wont be disappointed.

After a fantastic weekend away, this meal was a perfect exclamation point to our trip. We were all so tired walking in the door but the brightness of the restaurant and the amazing Thai cuisine woke us all right up. So thankful i saw this on google places. The 30 point review it had was definitely merited. Every thing we had was good but we all agreed my Khao Soi was the best.

I hate it when not enough people rate restaurants and your looking for something quickly and delicious tasting! This Thai place ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF!! Chicken lettuce wraps are my favorite as well as the soups! Delicious. Not too fond of the Ginger chicken lunch special, but overall great FRESH food! Constantly go there now. Great affordable prices for a student on a budget!

Finally reopened with a soft opening. Grand opening coming soon. We had the Pad Thai no tofu (2 ways), Salmon Salad and Spring rolls. Photos are all available. Fantastic food at a great price. If you think that you can handle the heat ask for your food "mammas Thai hot." I love this level of heat!! This place is a must try and now they serve beer!!

I love the foods here. Everything taste good so far for me. My favorite appetizers are shrimp fried rolls and satay chicken. And my favorite soup is Tom Yum with shrimp is awesome. I also like Thai Ice Tea it tastes about right. Not too sweet. The services are great and the waitress always have a great smile greeting and a warm welcome.

Excluding one restaurant I found in Rochester, MN while travelling, this is my favorite restaurant for Thai curry. The flavor, texture, and spice balance is fantastic. My friends that ordered the fried rice and mango sticky rice enjoyed their meals as well. The place is quiet and clean, and I will definitely be returning regularly.

I love this place. The food is actually tasty since I can cook I am pretty picky about what I am going to get. I went there for dinner with friends and I was happy with Thai crab appetizer and drunken noodles which are really tasty. I can say this place is my favorite drunken noodles plate.

I had the thai fried rice, and it was fine. Nothing to call home about, but better than many places. This is one of the rarer Thai places that gives you soup before your entree as well. The place is tiny but I went at lunch and it wasnt too crowded.
