Without sitting down you can tell by all the people there that this is a good place. Having visited Thailand hundreds of times, I had my hopes set high. Luckily I was not disappointed. There were only two of us, so we didnt get a ton of different dishes, but the ones we did get were great. I would definitely ask for it hotter, since they are making food for Californians - it was pretty mild.

Easily the best thai place in santa cruz , I havent been to Thailand yet but Id still consider this to be if not the most authentic then at least top 3 most authentic Thai places in Santa Cruz definitely great service here....

Owned by relitives of the owners of Sabieng on Mission St. in Santa Cruz , Kaosook has the same menu, fresh food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a quick and delicious lunch.
