Pleasant and attentive service, and outstanding dessert in the form of fried wontons filled with arroz con leche, drizzled in chocolate sauce. Downsides: the salmon ceviche with miso was overpoweringly weird, and the ceviche de pescado was waaaay too citrusy. I wish we had a chance to order non-ceviche dishes, but alas... Thats what we had to judge them on. UPDATE: Came back coincidentally with a different group for another lunch. We had the potato appetizer (cold, weird, not particularly appetizing), empanaditas (serviceable but nothing special), chicken chicharrónes (good, basically a slightly more fancy popcorn chicken), green paella (excellent dish, if on the small side for a paella), and the salmon with quinoa (good, interesting flavors). Also tried the bread pudding with lucuma ice cream, and the ice cream stole the show. Overall, my 3-star rating stands, because the quality and amount of food just dont justify the outrageous prices.

Food is great, service is great. But why only 3 stars? We made reservation- when we arrived the table was ready. Then we started to look into the menu - one dish really got us very interested- Adoba - pork chops cooked in chicha. The way it gets cooked varies great from north Peru to south Peru. So we asked the waitress to ask chef if this is the southern style - original from Arequipa. The chef swing by and told us - yes - he cooks it in Arequipa style. We were so excited that we ordered it immediately. When the plate come - what a disappointment - just well cooked pork chop and potato cake! The chef LIED. All the dishes have great refined tastes - palleya with black calimori source; chicharron de polla; even the very wrong styled adoba. But what a disappointment!!! Not sure if we will come again!

Four of us had a delicious dinner at Sipan last night. I had the duck which was cooked beautifully but I especially loved the very tasty rice that came with it. Those in our party also enjoyed the salmon and pork shoulder, the latter of which is cooked for 24 hours. It was very tender and the sauce was superb. We had 3 different appetizers - chicken croquettes, hamachi and albondigas - which were all excellent. Our server was terrific for giving us advice on the various dishes too. We truly enjoyed it and will return.

We had the opportunity to visit Sipan Peruvian Restaurant up in Saratoga. Let tell you that we were amazed by the restaurant. It looks very nice restaurant inside and out. Service is great and Food is fantastic. We had Empanadas con Crema Huancaina for appetizer, Jaleita Tradicional & Salmón a la Parrilla con Quinotto. We definitely come back again since theres no other great Peruvian Restaurant like Sipan!!!

I cant get enough of the potato and tuna appetizer. I could eat it every week. It has saffron in it which is one of my favorite flavors. For my main course I had the lunch special of meatballs stuffed with cheese. There were only two meatballs, but theyre dense and the noodles were delicious. It was plenty, so I had to take some of it home after having a half of the appetizer and some of that.

Interesting menu with a variety of choices with Peruvian ingredients. Had the pato con arroz criollo (duck cooked to perfection) and the ceviche mixto (ordered spicy and the kitchen delivered, good quality samishimi) Service was the only thing lacking, obviously strained even with a light crowd (our entrée arrived before our wine) but the effort from the kitchen was fantastic.

Latin Music on Thursdays!!! I went to SIPAN last week with my friend and we had a great time! We LOVE their food. We ordered " Tallarín Verde con Asado", "Papa a la Huancaina" "Lomo Saltado". Everything was delicious! Pisco Sour was good too :) I highly recommend it! Great customer service too!

Peruvian food is pretty hard to find. Good Peruvian food, even harder. This place is a good choice for all of your classics and a large selection of ceviche. Portions are larger than what I gathered from the pictures. Left very full.

Omg!!! Terrible customer service for a new restaurant! Beer was was not cold and they did not service ice on their Sangria, both of which were pricey! Go down the road to Mio .... Italian?restaurant restaurant

Amazing food and drinks. Computers had a couple glitches while we were there but I dont hold it against them given they just opened. Yannick is an incredible bartender and host. Looking forward to coming back.

Great restaurant. Had the ceviche and chicken thigh dishes for lunch. Both were amazing! We ended up splitting both plates for two people. A little on the pricy side for the main courses, but sharable.

Causa appetizer was ok. Didnt expect it to be cold. Shredded chicken entree was very good and paella was authentic. Will come back for the chicken. ~$40 per person for lunch. Expensive

Had the seafood salad with mango vinaigrette. Exceptional flavors, absolutely fresh. Ceviche mixto and heart skewers were great, too. Unfortunately the place was almost empty ...

Love Sipan! Very authentic to the food we ate in Peru a year ago. The lomo saltado and the seafood rice were both delicious. Ceviche was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Food and drinks are decent but service is slow even when empty and the prices are crazy. The food isnt even the traditional, more like a Spanish version of Peruvian.

Delicious and authentic. Their fish ceviche is amazing and so is the causa and lomo saltado. If you want to try really good authentic Peruvian, Sipan is a must.

Food was good and service was friendly. Expect to spend at least $30 a person for a standard dinner. Add $10 more for drinks.

Good food. Medium portions. A little expensive for the ingredient quality but thats probably due to the location.
