Amazing espresso! I ordered an Americano and it was so rich and smooth. One of the bery best cups santa cruz has to offer! This place has a great atmosphere. A modern and clean feel. It gets quite noisy, but with the style of shop it should be expected. (thats a good thing) The service was outstanding. 3 different guys - all so rad. I Ordered from one guy- super cool and friendly, I picked up my drink from the barista, really outgoing and fun, I asked about Internet from a totally different employee and he helped me right away. If you enjoy amazing coffee, really helpful and friendly service and a nice hussle/bussle flow.. Check out Verve!

Theyre not in the trendy shopping district of Santa Cruz, but theyre pretty close. The shop is more of an outlet store at their warehouse. As we drove in, my girlfriend said "they must be pretty good for people to drive out here for coffee." Well, they are. Best mochas we ever had. The barista also demonstrated some of the equipment they had for sale, and gave us a tasting of one of their more interesting roasts. In the end, we walked out with two bags of coffee and a metal cone filter for my Chemex, plus the two mochas.

The Baristas make incredibly delicious coffee! However due to the many individual requests, theres usually a line and a wait. Give yourself at least 20 minutes. Well worth the wait. Garrett and Daniel are the best!!! They also carry a myriad of delicious sweets from La Selva Beach bakery.

Excellent coffee - This location is a little hard to find, because it is in an industrial area. Its the main roasting plant, but they do serve all of their specialty drinks...and they are all fantastic. This location gives you more of a tasting room vibe. Very cool.

Its great coffee if you just want amazing coffee to go. Its not great if youre trying to work or just trying to hangout and enjoy the drink. Seating is minimal. Outlets and wifi dont exist. This is strictly a "get great coffee and leave" place.

A stripped down coffee bar at the roasting facility provides a great insight into how the coffee is made. The options for coffee are many but Ive always stuck to pour overs. They are so flavorful got wont need anything else.

Ive travelled the world and sought out good coffee wherever I go and this is top 2 (number 1 is in Tokyo in case youre interested). I went on a 30 mile detour to get a second cup. Its that good.

Verve is always great. I love all the wood they use inside of the cafe. I usually like a darker roast but the coffee is always great. The mound of pasties are awesome!
