The food is good Mexican food. The service when I was there was not up to par w the food. This place has no servers either which is strange to me with a restaurant that has a menu you sit down with and look before you order. After sitting and playing server for my GF and her mom I ordered at the register. There was a chip and salsa bar (self serve of course) I asked for a plate or basket for chips, the guy at the register pointed at the half cut brown paper bags. I then asked him a second time if he had something else, he finally went to the back and brought out the chip baskets and placed them by the salsa bar. Other than that the food was very good, coming from a Mexican :) !

Rather lackluster food. Sidewalk seating is a plus and Thursday Farmers Market was right here and near mission for walk along the creek but load up on flavor at the salsa bar. I dislike spicy food so this is fine for me but it is rather bland like Salvadoran food. Dont expect cheese on your nachos. Chicken and steak really had no flavor. Maybe they were rushed for Farmers Market. I dont drink but they seem to have decent selection of beer and staff was nice, helpful. Help yourself to nachos and salsa bar but also plaon. Nice selection tho. Fine stop when shopping but not a destination.

Came in around 5 for an early dinner and place was in disarray. Right after the afternoon lull we expected a completely different experience- chip bar was lacking chips, salsas were all gone, water jug empty, messy tables etc. Ordered two beers that were poured only after prompting and arrived flat. Nachos were soggy, beef tacos were flavourless and chewy. Do not recommend.

Delicious street tacos. Love the a la carte style menu since I never eat the rice and beans anyway. Help yourself to the chips and several styles of delicious salsa. Decent craft beer menu but I had a glass of their sangria. Nothing special but it was easy to drink.

I went for Taco Tuesday and ordered 1 chicken taco and 2 asada tacos. I had the asada taco first and bit into nothing but fatty pieces of meat. Killed the rest of my experience and I didnt finish my tacos. I guess 99 cent tacos is what you should expect.

Ordered "chrispy" chilaquiles and they were soggy, wife ordered the carnitas plate and everything was really bland, the rice was overcooked and the beans didnt have any flavor. I paid $30 for both plates and 2 drinks, definitely not a good experience

Fresh as fk chile rellenos, cooked to perfection. Rice & beans combo with the 2 rellenos was 12.00 , which is a super fair price for food that was just whipped up and didnt disappoint. Good rellenos arent easy to prepare or come by.

I like the place the food was excellent and on Sunday when we arrived for 1st time they had a guy singing and playing guitar. I would definitely give it a shot and enjoy the small great things. 1st time visit while traveling.

Pretty yummy. Can be hit miss Carnitas tacos. Their Tavo stand @ Farmers Market is the only day they do their green spicy green salsa and I wish it was everyday --other wise their salsa selection sucks. BEST flan in town!!!

We were here on a Sunday Eve and everything was really good. We had crispy tacos, a wet burrito, quesadillas and soft tacos with asada. The guy at the counter was great.

So delicious! The staff is so nice and attentive. Even when they are super busy they are always happy. Be sure to tip them well they deserve it!

My sons taqitos were very good. My tamale plate was very average. Beans are good, rice is lacking flavor. Service was friendly, but a bit slow.

Food is always excellent. The staff is stretched thin so service and cleanliness is hit or miss. Grab a sidewalk table if you can.
