...Thats how I felt leaving Asian Gardens Restaurant in Duarte this afternoon. Being a student, and only work part time, budgeting is always an issue, so I took a classmates advise and gave this restaurant a try. Lunch at only $5.95; all you can eat, hard to beat. However, the food quality was a bit lacking. But, hey! Its cheap. What do you expect? The beef was tough and lamb very gamy. Their seasoning sauces for the meats were not very tasteful when compared to other similar style restaurants. After the two choices of meats, I didnt want to try the rest. Aside from the main meat dish, there was a salad bar, vegetable friend rice (best tasting item in the restaurant), white rice, two choices of soups (chicken noodle, sweet and sour), and fried wonton skin with sweet and sour sauce. For my girlfriend and I, the bill came out to be $15 and some change. Thats with one order of iced tea. My girlfriend had an iced water. With tips I ended up paying $18, and I didnt even get a refill for my iced tea. When asked for a refill to go, the waitress tried to charge me $1 for it; I refused. Will I go back? Maybe, if Im alone, hungry, around the area, and on a tight budget. Hopefully, I will remember not to order any drinks. Iced tea for more than $2 a cup; Iced water is the way to go.

This is an unlimited self-serve mongolian buffet that is low fat, paleo and makes you feel great inside. I recommend it to people with gi or other health issues. Paleo-diet followers too! Dress up your meat and veggies with curry, garlic and mongolian and seshuan sauces and more! :-)My husband and I are regulars and recommend it to people trying to eat low-carb. A price u cant beat for an all-u-can eat self-serve buffet. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Cooks are also pleasant and easy-going.

When your in the mood for great Mongolian Hashen BBQ cuisine this is the place to go. For starters, you have to get the Binky cornbread. Its so flavorful and delicious it melts in your mouth. The coconut beef is also a great choice as you get a great flavor profile from start to finish. The chicken will melt in your mouth bursting with flavor. Service is great as their staff will make sure your needs are met. Parking is on Temple or adjacent side street.

I work near, the place is not fancy. You walk-in, grab a table and serve yourself. Price is cheap. I like the food. If, you are looking for upscale and waiters coming to you, this place is not for you. The staff is friendly. Not rude at all. They do stop by and check on you at least once. Also, very kind to pack my leftovers to go back to work.

Has the atmosphere of a sports bar converted into a restaurant, but the prices are the cheapest I know of in the area for Mongolian BBQ. Salad bar is weak, but the selection of meats & veggies for the BBQ is great. If you like the Mongolian bread, they only serve it with the dinner menu.

I have always loved this place!! Every time I came to California to visit this would be one of the first places I ate! The service is not the best and the woman who runs the place can be rude most of the time. But if you can over look that you will have the best meal of your life!!!!!

We had to sit our selves, get our own plates. Another customer told us on how the placed worked. I asked the lady that was attending /serving for silverware and she said "one moment I am busy". Will Never come here again and I wont recommend for you to come here.

The actual bbq was ok but the small salad bar looked dangerously stale/old. The soup tasted watered down. The table was sticky the service was poor and it just seemed dirty. This place will be out of business before the end of the year.

This place is awesome!!!! Prices are good. Food quality is great. Smiles everywhere, is almost all self service so if you are lazy is not for you. Cant emphasize how Great this place is. My new favorite mongolian bbq place!
