This place is a true destination for anyone who takes their coffee experience seriously. I am partial to mochas, being a chocolate lover, and after I tasted a Flying Goat mocha I realized that everyone else was second rate. The level of quality in the coffee and chocolate were exceptional and whenever I get a mocha here, the initial consistency of the steamed milk is like pudding. Its a rich decadent treat that is useless to resist. And to make it more irresistible, the spiced chocolate used for the Aztec mocha is so intense I actually feel the release of endorphins after my first sip. The decor of the cafe is open and bright with regularly changing artwork on the walls. The service is prompt and friendly and the baked goods are a pleasant mixture of delicious and healthy (for the most part). The goat bars are what every tired, sore athlete has wished their power bar was. If youre in the area and want your morning cup of joe or an afternoon pick me up stop on by.

Baked items also available, along with whole bean coffees and equipment to make your own. Coffee of the day available. Try the Columbian pourover for a dark chocolate taste.

This is a great shop for the coffee lover. They offer a decent selection ranging from multiple cold brews to pour overs and hot chocolates. I got an espresso and felt it was well balanced. The shop itself is a little too large and the space isnt as filled out. If you can score a seat outside, do that.

Its hard not to be jaded regarding coffee shops when you live in San Francisco, but Flying Goat really does have a warm and welcoming vibe. This is a good place to linger and enjoy a repast before, during or after wine tasting or shopping in and around Healdsburg.

I am not from the area and came here on a whim; I was definitely not disappointed by my decision. Not only is the coffee great quality, but the baristas are amazing as well. I will definitely be back here before I leave. Do yourself a favor and get a pour over!

I had a latte and it was deliciously creamy and warm. Dont go to FGC if you like over roasted, sweetest, over brewed coffee at chain shops. Go to FGC if you like an actual good coffee of any kind. Yum!
