I have enjoyed many cakes from this bakery and was overjoyed when they accepted to make my daughters first birthday cake. I saw my friends daughters first birthday cakes (2) and had complete faith in them executing what had been discussed in our e-mails. Attached are previous cakes they had made and last photo is the cake I received for my daughter. Our conversation depicted a "winter snowflake theme with lots of greenery and red berries and flowers. Did you want to bring in a figure of a Christmas fairy or would you like us to make one out of fondant? The fondant fairy will be $24. We can have her sitting on a poinsettia." Also we discussed a cupcake of the same filling, so the birthday girl could have her own. I went to their bakery an hour prior to their closing and picked up a single cake that looked like something that was made just for the season, not anything special. I asked if there was a cupcake, as indicated in our correspondence, but it hadnt been placed on the order or invoice. I was told I could pick out one of the cupcakes for purchase in their display case, but none of the cupcakes were the one I had ordered. At this point I was too frustrated and upset to continue on in the bakery. My husband was looking at the 1 Year Old candles for purchase, but I told my husband not to bother since I was just over this. I decided I did not want to dispute the matter and get upset in front of my daughter, because nothing was going to come out of it. We were pressed for time and had other engagements to attend to, so I decided I would voice my anger by e-mail to the bakery. The bakery responded to my e-mail with an initial apology but began back pedeling and doing a blame game.E-mail responses: "1. I had mentioned that I could make a baby fairy and put it in a poinsettia or you could bring your own. Your response was: "I like the design you specified. I will bring in a fairy (purple, l blue in dress), so please keep a space open for her. " We did keep a space open for her. 2. The cupcake was not in your invoice. I am sorry. However, we did have several cupcakes available for you to pick up. You did not request any special design for your cupcake so I am not sure why this is such a problem. 3. The size is just as we had agreed upon. An 8" round that is 4 layers which serves 20-25 people. This is of course only an estimate. For some people this cake will be too big for 20-25 people and for others it will not be enough. If you felt that the 8" was not big enough, you needed to let me know that after receiving your invoice. We reviewed the invoice and our emails and the cake is exactly as described. It is an 8" round, baby blue, snowflakes, holly berries. What were you expecting? If you really think it was not what you ordered, why did you accept it? Maybe we could have done something about it. You said nothing about your dissatisfaction about the cake when you were at the store. Your only complaint was the cupcake, which you deliberated over for at least 10 minutes. At no point did you make mention of the cake. We really dont understand why you were making such a fuss over the cupcake when you yourself did not notice that it was missing from the invoice. We could have easily replaced. However, you didnt want to. Your posting a review on Yelp is not a threat to us. We will respond with the plain truthful facts. We do not appreciate threats and are happy about your decision to find another bakery." Wonderful customer service and thought process of customer is always right. It is really sad that this happened, because I truly loved their cakes. This experience would not have been as bad if the cake hadnt been for my daughter. This time of the year is hard for this family, where our child was in the NICU for the first few months of her life, and I wanted this cake to be perfect for my baby girl. We will find another bakery, who will make our special events count and care what they produce for their customers.

I called the shop around 1:40pm today to ask about eggless cakes and spoke to Marlon. He said he can bake me an eggless cake in about an hour and it would be a good size for more than 4 people. I called back around 2pm to place the order for an 8-10inch cake and the cake was ready to go already at exactly 3pm when I went to pick it up. Just ate the cake and it was delicious!! Wasnt dry, didnt even taste eggless. The cream cheese filling and whipped cream topping was awesome! The chocolate cake part was great. Marlon was also really nice, helpful and very accommodating. Great customer service! Will definitely be coming back here for all my family events. (Dont know if I spelled his name correctly but the cake was his specialty).

Always had a good experience, I bought a cake for my mom, it was for Mothers Day she loved it. Thank you! It was a vanilla cake i belive. Also The cupcakes are Soo Good!
