I visited this location with a family member for dinner.my 1st complaint was the cashier and how she handle my transaction for paying for dinner. 2nd when we where getting our food everything was very low or empty. So we sat down with our 1st plate which was fine things where cold and dried out. We waited to refills for at least 15-20mins because our waitress was busy talking to other employees up front.so i went up for my second plate while my cousin sat with our bags. I sat down she went and got her plate and say down. We both had mashed potatoes. As my cousin started to eat hers she found a long black hair wrapped up in the mashed potatoes and pulled ot off her spoon! She immediately starts to gag. I stop eatting my food! Get our waitress and she takes the plate to whoever. So we waited about 10 mins before a manager named Derrick came to our table. Came with no apologies just basically said well no one thats working tonight has hair so thats not our fault! Which is not the right thing to say at all insinuating that we planted the hair!!! So i asked for the DM name and number. And he just walked away! So we waited another 10 mims or so and i see him in the back laughing and joking!! So i came to the cashier and asked for another manager or the DM info. She called for another manager. He (Josh) comes to the front with Derrick and basically says the same thing not his fault cause nobody has hair thats working! So i start pointing out every cook, server, waitress that had hair. All i wanted was an apology about it a and good gesture. Not to be blamed for the hair in the potatoes like i was making it up! So i asked for the DM info again which i never received! They wouldnt give to me! I asked for a refund! He told me because now it was after 9pm he could not do process a refund! I need somebody to call me about this matter because this was very very poor customer service! I will never eat at another golden corral if this is how youre company deals with their customers!

Went here on a trip down to my hometown of Hampton. Hadnt been to Golden Corral since they moved locations. I was pleased with the food, the employees and the seating. We had a rather large party and were given seating in a separate room that was still open to others, but the manager made sure we had tables to move together without bothering other guests. We went on a Saturday about noon. The buffet was stocked extremely well and everything was hot and fresh. The staff working the steaks/ham area was super nice as was everyone else we encountered. Our waitress was nice and timely with our drink refills and got everyones right which is a plus with a big party. I kind of feel like that maybe $10.99 is a little steep for a buffet lunch, but that being said, Id go back again. As far as other customers go....Look....anytime you are at a buffet place, there will be people bumping into you and cutting in line. Im a grown up so I can get over it. No one was overtly rude and no one got violent or obscene. Its also all in how you respond. I dont care if someone else gets to mashed potatoes before me. Theres plenty...thats why its a BUFFET! Some of the reviews left me feeling like maybe there is a little more to customers having problems with each other than just rudeness...Ill say no more. We had no major problems and I thought everyone acted like grown ups for the most part. Conclusion: if you are hungry, go here. The price is a little steep, but the food selection is worth it.

Pros: The dinner rolls are delicious. Cons: The food is 90% pre-packaged and processed to require minimal culinary skill in its preparation. If you enjoyed the mashed potatoes that were served to you with an icecream scoop in High School, you will probably enjoy most of what is offered here. The waitstaff is freindly, but the "cooks" are sketchy at best. I find myself pondering the qualifications for employment as a "cook" at Golden Corral and it decidely cannot be much more than having an ID card and a face that may or may not match it. It is actually rather amazing to still see these buffets in existence considering the health risks directly associated with this level of food. I could never in good conscience take my family to this restaurant and not feel responsibile for contributing to the already impressive level of obesity in this country. I could actually feel my ateries clogging as I ate here for the first and last time. It gives me chills just thinking about it.

Great selection of food, tastes amazing, well heated. Since my family and me dont go out that much due to work and current family issues, it was a very special to us and had time to talk and catch up on things while eating great food. Very crowded since today was a Sunday and Mothers day, but I saw the customer avtivity on Google and Sunday was usually the busiest. Waiters were very nice and price is pretty affordable. Cheaper than buffets Ive been to years ago. For 2 people $37*,* 3;$41*,* 4;$50 *,* 5; $60...and so on. Again, since I dont go out to restaurants often, my family and me were overly dressed and did not know we could dress casual, as a good portion of people were. Favorite was the chocolate pudding topped with shortbread cookies with sprinkles. Delish!

Ive enjoyed other Golden Corral locations in the past, but I refuse to visit this location again. The buffet was almost empty and was refilled with lukewarm food (if you were lucky). While gathering food at the buffet line, I spotted [adult] roaches on two separate occasions and overheard other customers saying they saw the same (where theres one, there are many!). Overall the store was dirty and unkempt. The table setting is cluttered and very tight. Our waitress had an attitude and didnt speak the entire time we were dining. Its worth the extra gas to visit a DIFFERENT location as not all Golden Corral restaurants are like this.

I went Friday and the food is good depending on what you get. There are plenty of options for a variety of taste. The bad side was the bakery. I did not get to get my favorite, the bread pudding. I asked and she said to wait and it will be out. I waited for a while. I left after waiting for a long time. As I left we looked and still no bread pudding or cobblers brought out. She was slowly doing everything else. I even heard others asking. They may need to add more people to help. Buffet is suppose to be kept refreshed ans not have to wait a hour for desert.

Eric M the cashier went yesterday on4/25 his customer service skills are on 0 ..No type of greeting, didnt ask what will you all like to drink we were waiting for him to ask, so we just told him.. Then I tell him we was paying separate he still put the bill together..No smile didnt feel welcomed..Then the food was dry, not enough coming out on time..Just need to put me in the kitchen or prep salad area , workers need to check the food often for refills etc everyone shouldnt be at the back all at once..
