A great place to go. Im embarrassed to admit I drove by the quaint little shop many times without giving it a chance. Recently, I did and it was to my surprise it is a diamond in the rough of Pottsville. I had a Caramel Latte and Peppermint Mocha Latte that was fantastic. Their homemade soup and sandwich was also great. Service was friendly and at a leisured pace (which if youre in a rush, why would you go to a coffeehouse to eat?) The prices were quite fair and if they werent in Pottsville, they could easily charge double for their food/drink. Colorful paintings and a classical soundtrack also complimented the small coffeehouse. Ill definitely return and I would recommend to any friend.

The Sage Coffeehouse is the premiere location for coffee, tea, and/or lunch. The staff is friendly, helpful, and inviting and prepares deliciously fresh soups, salads, and sandwiches from a well constructed menu. Equally as inviting is the dining environment. With its soothing, classically rooted soundtrack and interesting locally created artwork on the walls, the Sage Coffeehouse provides a calm and intriguing setting for a meal or drink with friends. It goes without saying that my numerous experiences here have been nothing short of satisfying. A must visit!

"Ive tried everything on the Sage menu and picking a favorite dish is like picking your favorite child." -Me. Sage is under A+ ownership, the waitress is as pleasant and efficient as they come, and the chef will keep you coming back for more! The best part is that theyre all the same person. Jen is the best. Killer food, coffee, and tea selections, first name basis service for all customers, and shes involved in the community- a true all-star! This is a MUST TRY in Pottsville. If you go for lunch M-F you have a pretty good shot of seeing me there!

A fun and funky mix of regulars, business people, professionals, artists, and students - with the occasional tourist thrown into the mix. This place has CHARACTER(s). WRTI plays in the bacground. Local art hangs on the walls. Breakfasts are my favorite, hot strong coffee, creative egg dishes, freshly baked muffins and cookies. Lunches include sandwiches, salads and soup. Portions are substantial. Prices are reasonable. Not to be missed!

A reasonably large selection of coffee beans and teas is offered. A nice place to stop for a lunch - a typical American cuisine with emphasis on salads and white meats. But my favorite is the house sage soup. The Sage coffeehouse also offers its premises to local artists for exhibitions.

Sandwiches and potato salad portions got smaller recently, but the price is still the same. Less avocado, sprouts, and bacon on the California sandwich. But the staff and owner are very friendly.
