Ok for starters let me tell you guys that when It comes to knowing different varieties of food and how they should taste I am your man. I have been eating at culturally diverse restaurants for years and have endulged my taste buds in a variety of different foods. Katsuri from the outside looks just like any other modern day restaurant. But the feeling you get when you walk in the door and are greated by someone who actually looks like they should work there is when you start to lose a few of the butterflies in your stomach that you may have gotten when you decided to try something new. I met a guy named vinnie whos accent threw me a curveball right iff of.the bat. An indian man from the UK, I didnt even realize that that was a real thing. Lol. But as you begin to mingle with this guy and you here the soft suttle tone of his voice it makes you feel like you are about to be treated to not just a good meal but a good experience. Too many restaurants have lost the ability to connect with the customer and give them more than just a meal. So lets not stop there because yes there is more to this place than just good.service. There is also overwhelmingly good food. Thete is no short of variety when It comes to flavor here and the way it all comes together is a work of art. Great service, great food, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like these people just take pride in what they do and where they work. If you havent taken the frightful leap it may seem that you have to take to try something new then you will will never experience anything better than the same old same old. This is the beat place in Greenville for Indian food period. They have a restaurant side and a pub side. The pub side always has a good crowd and I want to hire the person who did the wall murals to paint my walls. Food is fantastic. I think the owner pretty much does all the cooking. He came out to see how we liked everything when we were sitting in the dining room side. Everything was fresh and delicious. On the pub side I ordered kulfi one time and they took a few extra minutes before bringing it out due to a misunderstanding between the bartenders. They felt bad so they comped me for the drink and the kulfi even though I didnt really mind the wait since there was a band playing.. Great move on their part. I gave them a tip equivalent to what I would have paid as along with tip just because they were so good about the whole thing. Try this place. You wont be disappointed.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and every time it has exceeded my expectations. The food is delicious, the service is great and the chef couldnt be nicer or more attentive. The servers do a very good job at giving suggestions and making the menu very simplified, especially since I rarely eat Indian food. The atmosphere is a fairly low lit dining area with some seating off in corners for more romantic, intimate dinners. I would definitely take a girl to this restaurant because it is fun, good tasting food, and a quiet dining experience. It is definitely not a cheap restaurant but, the service, atmosphere, and food most certainly make you feel like you get your moneys worth and more. It makes for a great night out with loved ones.

Tried the lunch buffet for the first time today, and it was excellent! Not as bland as most Indian Restaurants, but not hot spicy. It was a mild to medium heat index spice. Nothing too hot for the average person that cannot handle spice. The selection was decent and I found some new favorites. Would have liked to see Aloo Gobi, Butter Chicken, and Channa Masala on the bar; however, I enjoyed most of what I tried. The ones I did not were because I am not a fan of those veggies normally. Great addition to the dining options in Greenville. I will return!

I am incredibly picky about Indian food. I either want authentic Indian, or English-Indian Curry deliciousness. This place happily serves both. One side is an english style pub (with Bodingtons on tap), the other is a traditional indian restaurant. Im new to Greenville and Im so glad I found this place. The food is on par with the best food Ive had while in India, I will be going back constantly. Side note, the bar food is also amazing, the Kati Roll was mind blowingly good, and only $4 the night we went.

Very private yet entertainingly open. Darts and live music, serious Indian cuisine and Dan. Dan is part of this English-style pubs ambience and hell be your Yogi guiding you through the custom craft beers, Indo-Eurasian food menu (which rocks) and the nights specials. If you like Mexican hot then order no more than a 3! ;). Good crowds, good playlists and live artists, excellent drinks and 3 large screens means any night of the week would be a relaxed and memorable time. 5 stars!

I tried the lunch buffet and it was really all you can ask for. There were plenty main dishes to choose from and you could taste the love that went in to making each one. Variety and deep flavors are in each dish. I especially loved the Gajar Halwa carrot dessert. It was so full of flavor I ate way more than necessary. The Shahi Tukri fried bread dessert was equally good. $12 may seem high for a lunch buffet but it is well worth it. I will be going back often!

Service was lacking, I felt I was a bother to the waiter just for existing. I asked for the vindaloo to be hot and what I got was disappointing. Ive had pasta sauces hotter than the food I had today and it just seemed lackluster. Nothing special to it or something worth remembering in a good way. Definitely not worth what I paid. I left annoyed at myself for even going there.

It is a really nice place with great ambiance they play music it it just loud enough to hear but so loud that you cant talk or hear. The food is great I had soup and chicken curry with rice medium spice was perfect not to blade or hot. I also got to meet Isham Singh Execuitive Chef/Owner who was very nice and personable. I would recommend Kasturi to anyone.

One of the best places to eat in town! Centrally located near the hospital and it is incredibly authentic. Everything from the food, the decor, the music, and everything else is incredibly authentic and is very enjoyable for a change of scenery. The food is absolutely incredible. They have a lunch buffet too which is absolutely amazing!

Ive always enjoyed eating here. My grandparents first introduced me to this restaurant. Everything is amazing. Com the authentic food to the great service. They even have a bar and on Thursdays they have a night of music and dancing. Its a wonderful atmosphere and always a great stop if youre feeling adventurous.
