Honestly, I would not consider this place a traditional sports bar per say in my opinion. Came by recently for the Game 7 Celtics vs, Wizards game per invitation from one of my boys. The place was loud with tons of people on a Monday so it is definitely popular from what I witnessed. Its definitely in a part of town and location that it can thrive in. Made reservations and was seated right away. They have a Valet Parking sign next to the bar which is basically some guy sitting in a seat at a gas station that will watch you car for fee alrighty then LOL. The inside of the place is okay with walls lined with TVs, average interior, decent looking set up. The bar is all the way in the back which is a little hike so you cant see if there is a free opening at the bar from the entrance clearly. The service was minimal to not so good but thats to be expected at most busy sports bars, I am okay with that from previous experiences. Our waiter did not seem to have knowledge of the menu and with the loud noise at times (3 dudes playing a violin right in my ear most of the night) we had to yell our orders. He was a nice dude though with manners. You cannot hear the TV of games in there so do not come here if you like to hear the actual games cause that wont be happening lol We started with the "Appetizer Sampler For 2" (Picadera Para Dos, chicken croquettes, chicken & beef skewers, guacamole, pico de gallo, wings, bbq ribs) we substituted the beef skewers for chicken and got an extra order of chicken skewers for the BBQ Ribs which he had no problem doing. The sampler seemed like they had them ready to just serve and weas not made fresh because they were very cold and not great. Plantains were horrible. The wings and chicken croquettes were pretty good. I ordered the "Lobster Stuffed w/ Crabmeat" with a side of sauteed vegetables and it was pretty good but my complaint was for the portion vs quality ratio it was not worth $34.00. My boy ordered the fish with some shrimp in a wine sauce which was decent but once again the portion vs quality ratio was not worth it. Now the only reason to come back would be drinks we got the pitcher of Sangria which my boy crushed and he said it was amazing and they have some of the best happy hour deals you will experience now this was way above the average portion vs quality ratio lol. Definitely a great bang for you buck in this department. Overall I would come back because even though it was loud and had the Violin crew in my ear 90% of the night LOL. The atmosphere was positive and everyone was out to have a good time positive and I can dig that. My advice is come here for the drink situation only and take the train do not drive if you are not familiar with the area because finding parking is like trying to see a unicorn on the same day you see a comet smh lol

The ambiance and decor are what makes this place attractive. They have a massive space to accommodate many people at once. But that means it gets crowded and loud. The drinks are pricey and food is ok, not great. But its a fun place to go grab a drink if you are ok with a lot of noise. There is a club downstairs that is separate from the main dining area. Hookah is available which can be overwhelming if you are with children, the smoke gets in your face. They should designate certain areas that are smoke free. This is definately a party place but if you want something upbeat then you should be ok. Making reservations is a good idea because waiting for a table can be annoying. There isnt a good place to stand so everyone ends up spilling out into the sidewalk while they wait. There are tvs everywhere so its a good place to watch sports. You can celebrate an event there and pay in advance for a large party with a prefixed menu, however the serving sizes are very small for the amount they charge. I dont think it is worth the price for large groups. If you like going to places in the Dyckman area for the crowds and party atmosphere, then you will enjoy this place. They also have an outside terrace and a large outdoor patio which most people enjoy during the summer. The patio is just feet away from a residential building. Not sure how they get away with not having the patio be enclosed. It would be great if they did enclose it so it can keep the noise level down and it can be used all year long, not just during the warmer months.

I was here last night with my BFF and we had a great time. Even though it was Monday and the GIANTS lost, I was charmed by the restaurants warm, inviting atmosphere. I arrived first and was nicely greeted by the hostess who suggested reserving our table while I waited for my friend at the bar. The bartender was very nice she suggested a red sangria that was very, very good, and the happy hour prices were very considerate. We then moved to our table the waiter was very professional and attentive suggesting plates depending on our requests, he was charming. The appetizers very good and dinner was delicious! We had frozen sangria samples and thank you shots at the end of our meal. All this while watching the game on all TVs and a DJ playing great music. Eddie the manager came over introduced himself as he made sure we were comfortable, pleased and enjoying our dinner while having a great time. He was awesome. Thank you all I will definitely be back.

Ive been to Inwood Bar and Grill twice now. It has a great atmosphere, great decor and lots of flatscreen televisions. Ive gone twice on Saturdays and after a certain hour the place turns into a sort of "club" with a DJ or band playing which is really cool. The food has been delicious both times Ive been there and I havent been disappointed either time. The specialty drinks are good as well as their Frozen Margaritas. Awesome prices I might add compliment this awesome place, mix crowd etc. By the way, I do have one gripe. The waiter I had last night (2/11/17) was a bit disrespectful as I made a slight complaint about my dish and while in the middle of talking he turned around and walked away. I wont rate the place less then 5 stars because of the actions of one person, and all it took was for me to ask for another waiter and all was well afterwards.
