Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I had heard of this place as being the up and coming successor to Red Wok, so I thought Id give it a try. One of the reasons Red Wok stands out to me a buffet, is their excellent selection of sushi and rolls. When I arrived at AB not a single traditional Sushi was to be found, even though they advertised it all across the resteraunt. And the rolls they had placed out, where very limited in selection, with very few actually being fresh. I attempted to inquire as to where the sushi was, but time and time again, staff feigned not being able to speak english. When I finally found someone who could speak (very) broken english. they said that traditional sushi was only served at dinner. I came back a few weeks later for dinner. Imagine my surprise, when the only sushi I saw out was shrimp...and what few rolls where out, were even more picked over then last time. This time I got lucky, and found someone who could speak english on the third try. Apparently, the only traditional sushi this place serves is shrimp and salmon. They did make me a salmon sushi, and it was OK. It is back to Red Wok for me, as I could get consistently good food and the staff treats the customers with respect. BTW, my 8 year old also gave AB the thumbs down as well for their California rolls.

I used to go to Asian Buffet at least once a week since they first opened. The last time my family was there was roughly 3 weeks ago. The food used to be fresh and delicious. Over time its diminished as well as the rest of the restaurant. NOTHING is fresh, salad is full of water, steak is WAY overcooked (if they have it). The egg-drop soup is disgusting, and they run out of their extremly limited sushi. They leave things under the heat lamps for hours and it dries out. Benches and chairs are falling apart. Its a disaster. The last time I was there the staff practically pushed me out of the way and hovered over me until I moved. No English is spoken or understood. I wish they cared about the place enough to clean and really take pride in their food. They treat guests like a burden. Rushing you out, delivering the check 15 minutes after you sit down. I wont be returning :( guess well be trying Red Wok.

My favorite Chinese restaurant used to be Red Wok on Sherman. Theyre still good, but when Asian Buffet came to town they stole the show. They have a ton of choices at the buffet for a great price! There is even a mongolian grill where you can pretty much make the same thing you would have to pay $16 for at BDs Mongolian BBQ. This restaurant is always busy, because the food is great and so are the prices! However, Ive never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a table even on the busiest nights. Usually there is either no wait or less than 5-10 minutes. Best of all, my kids are under 3 so they eat free! So for roughly $20, my husband and I can go out to dinner with the kids. We would have spent the same amount buying burger king meals for everyone. We LOOOVE Asian Buffet!!!

This is my favorite restaurant in the Tri-Cities area. The food is always fresh and the staff is friendly. They also have a mongolian bbq (which is included in the buffet price) that has a large variety of fresh items to choose from. I usually dont even like to eat at buffets but this one is an amazing value. Even if you dont stuff yourself you still feel as if you "ate your moneys worth" when you leave. We go at least every two weeks (sometimes once a week)and they are very consistent! This place is amazing. If you like Asian food at all....this is a MUST try !!!! You will pay less per person compared to getting Chinese take-out, the variety is amazing, and the food is consistently awesome.

Prices have gone up over the years but its still the best asian style buffet around. Ive had a few bad experiences here but overall very fat and happy when I leave. Kid friendly and affordable, especially if you score one of the coupons from the local savings paper. A great place to hit with the family after shopping in the area for a quick bite. Tons of selection and the kids always eat their fill to get a crack at the deserts (which there are a TON of)

Excellent selections. I always do the fish, shrimp, sushi, seafood, etc while they also have a great selection of chicken, steaks, and american food for the kids. The food is always fresh and hot and I have never once questioned if anything is "not safe" -like you may do at other buffets. Its the only place I take my family out to eat at anymore because of all the choices we have- It simply cant be beat.

Always a wonderful stop to make in Muskegon. Great food, good variety, and probably amongst the top quality of buffet food around here. They seem to like to vary some stuff, but Ive been coming here since I was about 3 and my favorites have always been here. Theyre always prompt in replacing dishes as they run out even if theyre as busy as they are right now.

I cant even give one star. Today we went there as a group and as i was eating i was being observant there was a worm, yes a WORM on my food. I was disgusted none of us even got through a whole plate still ended up paying 44 dollars! Thats ridiculous we should have got it for free. It use to be my favorite restaurant but i will never again step foot in there.

Large variety, nice enough staff, food is always good. Plus, besides the ice cream, they have bomb pops! Or rocket pops, or however you know them as, they are the red white and blue Popsicles! I am lactose intolerant, and these are unlimited, so this is pretty great. We eat here several times a year when we visit family, always a favorite.

Probably one of the only Buffets I have been to where the food is always hot and fresh. Dont get me wrong, if you go at the tail end of lunch and they are not ready for the dinner rush it may be a little old (still fresher than most). I love going here, if you havent tried them, you need to stop by.

Nasty food. They let the food go way too long out. Caught staff trying to save shrimp that was put out. Felt ill before leaving the place. All they could do about it was give us 1 free meal of the 5 we purchased. Not at all happy about it and will be reporting them to the health department.

Its quite and has many choices. But the quality has been dipping for some time. Its not horrible and Ill be back when someone offers and Im hungry but I wont be looking to seek out the Asian Buffet anymore. Teo people with drinks is 28 bucks so not to horrible in price.

Decent all around buffet with plenty of options. The hibachi grill area seems to be a hit as it offers customers a chance at customizing a dish for themselves. The only complaints i could really have, would be the slightly unfriendly customer service from staff.
