I am a regular customer of restaurants around druid hills order in a lot. I ordered from Golden budhha today evening and had a horrible experience. I ordered through grub hub and needed to enter my card info twice due to some mistakes. I always put reasonable tip on home deliveries too and always click the option put on card as I rarely carry cash. Today I thought I did same. The delivery guy came in delivered and asked for tip. I realized tip has not been put on my card and told him I apologize but I do not have cash on me- I will put next time. He wont leave my front door and kept on asking for tip and I had to go in and search the entire house and paid in quarters and pennies i found from turning my house upside down because he WONT LEAVE my door otherwise. This was very bad customer service to me and it was not like it was a young guy it looked like the owner or someone like it who was very well dressed and middle aged! To top it it all the food was mediocre at best. The whole reason I ordered in today as I realized I have no salt at home to cook anything and every single thing came almost saltless.I ordered a total of $29. Pretty bad experience and I will never order food from them or go in there ever again

I have been a long time regular customer of this restaurant, however I will no longer be. I ordered 3 soups and was only given two. I have ordered many MANY times from them usually I order two soups, so I know the size container that comes with two soups and that is NOT what I received. When I called to tell them about it I was asked if I wanted a credit or another soup. I decided that I wanted another soup because there were three of us and not everyone was able to eat much soup with the small size container that they sent me. At first they said that was fine, but then they called me back to tell me that actually I had received three soups instead of two. I think they just didnt want to take the time to bring me the third soup. Its too bad, I really like this place but I hate when restaurants try to cut corners to save money. Needless to say I will be going to a different Chinese restaurant from now on.

It was a gorgeous evening for my family. After spending some time shopping at Phelps Plaza we came to eat some good stuffs. I had heard nice words about this restaurant on the community board on the web. But it wasnt until I spent more than 40 dollars leaving almost half the food I had ordered untouched that I realized they were far from being the truth. As s Chinese restaurant, this one is way below average with exceptionally high price. I was also surprised to find quite a number of Americans enjoying(?) the food there. We Asians, I bet, know better about Asian food than western people, and it was terrible whether they realize it or not. What is worse, the food was full of MSG. The only good thing...the server was sort of kind.

Sad to even have to write this as I have been going to this restaurant sense I can remember. Unfortunately my friends and I found dead gnats in 3 separate meals on our table.. The Manager was very generous and offered to make all of the meals over again and made sure I didnt pay for anything, but I thanked him for his offer and left.First it was the soup then I just pushed it aside and didnt eat it.Then the main courses came out and (my friends thought) we were ok on not finding anymore but a couple bites in and we start to find more. I will not come back to this restaurant until it is inspected. The food here is the best youll find in the area, but bugs in my food is definitely a problem.

We had a good time before but the service was terrible today. And she had the nerve to stand over me while I was filling out the check. And she asked why she didnt get at least 10%. She spent more time at the table at the end and talked to us more at the end than during the entire meal. Never refilled our water, never checked on us, never asked if we needed drinks, slammed the plates on the table, ignored is when we tried to get her attention, took 20 minutes to get to us the first time. Im glad she asked because she must think she did a good job or you should tip no matter what. I complained to the manager and my previous waiter but I wont go back there ever again.

For me, the test of a good chinese restaurant, at least when Im in New York, is the cold noodles with sesame (and/or peanut) sauce. I ordered this dish at Golden Buddha (Clairmont Ave) and was shocked -- SHOCKED -- to receive nothing more than a thin plate of watery cold insipid noodles with a small slab of cheap supermarket peanut butter on the side. Yucka yucka! I was too disgusted to notice whether the service or atmosphere was good. The other food we ordered was not quite as ridiculous, sheesh, but eminently forgettable nonetheless.

Eggplant chicken is too greasy. I had to put it in a strainer and let the grease pour through the strainer. I think they put sticks of butter in the recipe. The eggplant is whipped, not whole pieces of eggplant. Polite manager. Polite delivery man. Steamed pot stickers texture is so-so. The dipping sauce for the steamed pot-stickers is a bit sugary. Order was delivered to my home on a Fri night within 40 minutes of placing the order, so that was good. My expectations were high, because I have had really good Chinese food in my life.

Went during lunch Sunday and cost me 16 dollars because they do not have lunch prices. As I was waiting for 15 minutes, they sat 3 couples. As they sat for 5 minutes the servers and manager/owner were talking and playing on there phones then finally went to the tables and gave them menus. As I got to the hospital I found out they never put in tableware for me to eat. The manager/owner finally started to tie his tie in front of the people that were there. Unprofessional in everything they did even tho the good was great

Ordered take out from them and got Mongolian Beef and Golden Buddha Lo Mein...both were pretty bad. Plus, for two dishes that were supposed to have noodles, there was a surprising lack of noodles...as in almost none. The taste of the Mongolian Beef was ok at best and the Lo Mein tasted like nothing -- seriously, I couldnt distinguish any unique flavor in it. We also got the shrimp basil rolls, but they were also pretty bland and the peanut sauce was overly salty. Overall, very disappointing for $30 worth of food.

Golden Buddha is an interesting Korean/Chinese restaurant where it serves both americanized chinese food and traditional chinese/korean food. I have come multiple times for their black bean noodle (jjajjangmyun), which is one of the better ones in greater Atlanta. Princess chicken is a nice spicy and sweet chicken. Their portion is huge too! One bowl of the noodle and easily feed two. The place looks like a traditional chineae restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but presentable nonetheless.
